The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star continues to impress with its enduring appeal and versatile design. The canvas upper delivers a laid-back aesthetic, while the durable rubber sole ensures long-lasting comfort. The signature star logo and high-top silhouette maintain the classic charm, suitable for various occasions. While the minimalistic style is a plus, the lack of advanced cushioning might be noticed during prolonged wear. Nevertheless, the Chuck Taylor All Star remains a fashion icon that effortlessly complements any casual wardrobe.... Show more

I love Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes. I have them in several colors and styles. My favorite though, is the purple. Recently, a friend was married and our whole bridal parry wore these shoes under our gowns. They were very comfortable for the long day. None of us experienced any of the typical sore feet or blisters that come with wearing formal shoes. They looked great with our dresses, and we received a ton of compliments. These shoes are great for any occasion casual to formal. ... Show more

Classic styling, minimal quality
The not great:This classic shoe has clearly gone through several rounds of minimizing production costs. For example, the laces are stretchy and not smooth to the touch, made of what I think is a nylon blend instead of just cotton. The All Star patch is fused onto the canvas and there is no texture or embossing- it looks like a sticker added to the shoe. The insole will do very little to support you and is not removeable. The good:It’s such a classic look and really completes so many outfits. I sized down a 1/2 size as recommended which was great, but when I added a Superfeet insole for support it’s a splash tight in the toes. And I’m really grateful that it’s offered in a wide width. Shipping was free and really fast too. I would buy again but I’m a little ... MoreThe not great:This classic shoe has clearly gone through several rounds of minimizing production costs. In Chuck We Trust
Timeless and cozy, a tale as ancient as can be. These shoes remain a staple in my collection. Whether it’s a romantic evening with my spouse or a rigorous leg day at the gym, my Chucks are always by my side. As recommended, make sure to order a half size down from your normal shoe size. Personally, I adore the all white pair, but any color is suitable for both beginners and experts alike. I’ve brought you this far, so why hesitate? Get yourself a pair. You’ll appreciate it later.... Legends for a reason
Both my wife and I wear Cons regularly. They hold together well, go with anything, and it's hard to beat the comfort and timeless style. I have more variants than I care to admit, but the basic high top is the benchmark classic by which everything gets measured. All around the world, people know the shoes and understand the mythology. When you think "sneaker", an image of the black Converse hightop usually pops in one's imagination. They are legends for a reason. Still well made and reasonably priced, can't get enough of 'em...... Love the pink!!
My daughter loves Converse so I buy her a new pair for school every year. She got the light pink this year and they are so cute. Such a beautiful shade of pink🩷I was hoping it wasn't medium pink like Pepto. Comfy as usual. Last year her black pair lasted the whole year worn during the week almost every day because she ignores any other brand we buy. I'll see how long these last they are lighter in color so they might get dirty looking but I'm not above washing them plus I sprayed them with sneaker protectant especially for canvas. Definitely recommend these and the color.... Show more

More comfortable than ever!
I've been wearing Chuck Taylor All Star high tops for over 50 years as my primary everyday shoe. These black monochorome high tops are more comfortable, than the standard Chuck Taylor All Star high tops I've every worn. I bought the monochrome at the same time I bought a standard Black (black and white) pair. The monochrome seem less stiff right out of the box, have more comfortable coushioning inside and seem a little lighter. (The weight may just be my perception since they are more comfortable than the standard black pair I bought). Excellent buy!... Show more

Not the same. Misleading description.
I’m gonna say it’s true to size or even runs a lil small because I sized a half size down because it says this style runs large but it does not. It’s weird because I have other pairs in the same size that feel fine. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s made differently that it’s more fitted but either way. Don’t size down. And yes the material is different. The ones before, the textile feels like canvas, as it should. This one feels like felt for some reason on the inside. Not what I was expecting. But I examined it too late to return it so womp womp. Yeah it’s different. And the emblem. Something is just off about it. Maybe because it’s made in Indonesia this time instead of Vietnam. I’ll show the difference. This new one is definitely more narrow than my old one and ... The Green one is the new one. Idk I’m upset... Show more

Reunited with an old friend.
I started wearing All Stars about sixty years ago. They were my go-to shoe except for church with my family. By the time I was fifteen I was wearing a size 13 shoe. By the time I was seventeen I was wearing a solid size 14. No more All Stars for me. I could find no place with size 14 All Stars. Years passed and the electronic revolution took full hold. On a whim recently, I ventured onto shoe store websites but alas no size 14. Then the ephifany. Cheque the Converse website. And there they were, size 14 All Stars. I immediately ordered two pair and waited with great expectations for their delivery. When they arrived I was greatly pleased. The exact same shoe I remembered and they fit. I am just very glad that after more than fifty years I am again wearing my Converse All Stars.... Show more

Very narrow!
If you have normal width feet like I do, you probably don't want to listen to the web site recommendation to go a half size down. They are ridiculously narrow. I wear a 5.5 in sandals and flats and a 6 in sneakers, since I wear socks. The 5.5s were WAY too narrow, and I've never had an issue with shoes being too narrow. The 6s are better, though almost on the edge of being too narrow still. And even looking right down at the toe box, it even looks too narrow for the rest of the shoe. I also tried a 6.5 but they fit like the 6s, just longer. I have to say these were much better fit-wise 20-30 years ago. And if you read all the complaints about people saying these run too narrow, you'd think they'd change something...... Show more
