These Chucks looked stylish and funky out of the box. Unfortunately once I got them on my feet I discovered they are just not a fit for me. I am 6'5 and men's size 13 feet, and
these shoes highlighted both of those things in an awkward way, making me even taller and making my feet look huge! Perhaps in a darker colorway it would not be so
extreme.The soles do seem very comfortable esp compared to classic and other flatter Chucks... but they are almost too chunky for the lighter weight ankle material with less
support. I could see these being comfortable and stylish for someone smaller than me looking for a fresh take on a classic, but sadly they don't really work for me.

First, let me start by saying that the CHUCK 70 AT-CX might be a perfect match for someone else's style, and they could totally rock these shoes. Unfortunately, they just didn't click with me personally. I must admit though, the quality and materials used in these shoes are absolutely top-notch.However, when it comes to the overall look and feel, they fell flat for me. The tread pattern on the bottom didn't sit well with my feet, and the toe area felt rigid and never seemed to break in. Purchased this shoe for my many extended days in airports & travel. Specifically a coming trip to Tanzania involving hikes and safaris. While the shoe is lightweight, sole generous, construction adequate(and waterproof) the size is too snug and my size 10(my usual Converse size) was too tight. I wore them 2 days to attempt break them in, in very thin ankle socks, and did nothing. I could feel my toes scrunched and knew this would be a nightmare if traveling. Shoe is great however if buying you must buy a half size larger- I promise you. My feet are not wide and every shoe I wear is exact 10. This shoe sadly fits smaller and I guess I'll just have to say lesson learned and find another more celebrated and expensive brand for hiking/trail.

Converse or one of my favorite tennis shoes I love everything about them,The style - they are constantly coming up with new styles but they also still carry the old-school original converse,The color selection - there are multiple color selections to pick from from patterns, solids and multicolor options. I am only 5 foot two so having these in a platform is a win for me and they are extremely comfortable to walkin, I got them for our trip to Disney and wore them all day long with no problems nor did my feet sweat . and being that they are cotton canvas they are easy to keep clean and you don’t have to worry about scuffing them.

I really like these shoes. They fit true to size and are rather comfortable. The bottom of the shoe is very thick and offers a lot of support. However, support is lacking in the ankle area. I have to tie the shoes tightly to add extra support to this area. If you are looking for a few extra inches, these are a great option. They give a little extra height. Through wearing, I learned you need to wear socks with these shoes. They rubbed the back of my ankle when not wearing them. With socks they are very comfortable. I really like the sharp all black design of these shoes. They are very trendy. The look of the shoes is my favorite part. I have gotten quite a few complements on them. My first impression of the CHUCK 70 AT-CX HI EGRET, was very unique style of shoe wear, but not for every occasion. When I tried on the shoes, the fit was exact to its size, and comfortably held well around the toe area. The design is a very abstract, diversifying it’s top exterior of the classic Chuck Taylor's, to detailing into a rugged boot formation. The Fabric design is elite; smooth yet tough for any outdoorsy activities. I like the style of the shoe design, and I wouldn’t change anything about it.

Alright so these might just be THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The cushioning is fantastic and my feet feel great in them from the moment I step in them all the way to hours later of wearing them. For that alone they get 4 stars. And for as large as the shoes are, they don’t feel heavy on my feet. Style wise, they are nod back to my middle school days in the 90s when chunky shoes and wide leg jeans were all the rage. They’re big and somewhat overwhelming style wise for me - but I’m also a 40 plus year old, so there’s that. I do find them hard to pair with outfits, but since I’m middle aged I don’t generally care that much and the comfort is so amazing that I’m cool with looking a little off. I got these chucks for my Husband and here are a few things we like about them. I think these look so cool and trendy. They have that classic Chuck look with a twist of a tennis shoe. My husband said these are so comfortable that they seriously feel like clouds. He also mentioned to me that they are true to size. Since my husband has been wearing these for a few weeks, he’s managed to keep them quite clean, but he did have a few specks on it that easily came off with a stain spray. I’m highly recommend these to friends. I haven’t seen any shoes like this and I’m seriously loving the style!
