I am fan-girling over these Converse Chuck 70's!! I could go on about the white leather for days, it is genuinely beautiful. My chucks are so comfortable I would rather walk in them than barefoot. They are loaded with cushion and padding making them great for long strides or a hard days work. I have high arches in my feet and these shoes fit my feet so perfectly, the OrthoLite cushioning is fabulous. If you are on the fence about buying these shoes, I can assure you... get them, you will not regret it.

Like I said, it's been a while since I've worn chucks so I probably should have tried them on in the store before purchasing. Overall they are comfortable and very sturdy. I have to be careful with the white, but so far I have been able to wipe off marks easily.

I love the color of the shoe and the shiny toe gives it a nice touch! It is a little too wide for my feet but pulling the laces tighter does help. It is also a little too big so I may benefit from a smaller size but would want to try it on first. This shoe would be great for those who have wider feet and there is more room. The fabric is thick and similar to the fabric of my other Chuck Taylor shoes. The sole is a little thicker but not too thick. This will be a good everyday shoe to style with jeans or short or even a dress for women when going for a casual look. It does look a little long on my foot which I don’t like. This is the first pair of Converse wide shoes that I have. Many canvas shoes I purchase need to go through a “breaking in” period. These are definitely very comfortable for wide feet — my toes don’t rub at all, but because I’m not used to it, I feel like I need to wear thicker socks. Perhaps sizing down half a size would be more of my true size with these shoes. The black chuck 70 wide I can say definitely fits better. I feel because it’s a wider shoe I can actually wear socks and still be comfortable rather than having to make sure the shoes aren’t thick. The design is basic which you can dress up or dress down. I can simple wear these with a cute summer body con dress or some cute skinny jeans. I typically do not go with a wider width shoe as my feet tend to slip around too much in them, however, I have never felt comfortable in a regular width Chuck style because of the more pointed toe. I had a bit of wiggle room in the Chuck 70 wide, but it was extra space that felt good! I typically find shoes with a rounder toe box most comfortable. These were far, far better than the regular width for me, but did bother the joints in my big toes at the end of the day. I am going to keep wearing them for shorter periods in hopes they just need more wear to stretch out a little. The sole of the shoe and the canvas fabric was flexible right away and not stiff at all. I liked that the soles could bend with my foot. The ankle rubbed a bit, but taller socks and tying the ... I’ve been wearing Size 7 All Stars for decades and these Chuck 70’s fit me perfectly in a size 7 for anyone wondering if there is a fit difference between them. I have wide feet, double E (EE) in boots and these fit me well like the All stars did, not too narrow. The Chuck 70’s are much better comfort wise than the Allstars in my opinion with the comfort soles (Which Are Replaceable!) and the overall sturdier build of the shoe, you can actually feel the difference in the thicker canvas and the rubber soles. I really like the narrower look that the high sidewall and the set back toe cap outline give the shoe. The rubber has a very glossy finish that’s not as distracting as I thought it might be. I purchased the Universe Teal and Tawny Owl versions and both are nice ... When I told my son I was going to get him a new pair of sneakers as I do every year for school I was pleasantly surprised when he asked for the same sneakers his dad has and has worn his whole life. He wanted matching white high top chucks. I was hesitant on the white, because my son is 12 and as a typical kid he can get messy. But I went for it anyways. In the past we have had difficulty with certain shoes due to his wider feet, not abnormally wide just wide enough to not be comfortable in some shoes. So I ordered the Chucks wide, they are amazing! They fit his foot so well without looking awkward and you can barely tell the difference. They look perfect, fit him amazing and he loves them.
