When I first tried them on I immediately thought about returning because there was absolutely no way I could were these with no show socks. There is no cushion in the back
so the canvas scratches the back of my ankle. I also have slightly wide feet, and converses are usually narrow, so I never get them even though I’ve always wanted a pair. I
figured I would finally treat myself to these. They seemed comfortable enough and I was really mostly wanting the style, so I cut the tags off.I should’ve followed my initial
instinct and immediately returned. Wearing socks that show really defeats the whole look I was going for. I can now only wear them with pants that cover my soc...

They’re converse with a bit of additional cushion so if you’re not accustomed to this type of sneaker, wear them for a few hours of fun until acclimated. If you’re a fan of these timeless sneakers, then you’re just needing to know that this little heart is not going to be silly or tired after a period of time - and it won’t… cute eyes beckoning to play with the right amount of mischief contained in a ♥️, chances are you’ll regret not buying them. After all, if you’re already a fan of Converse, this is as must to your collection as the traditional black and whites!

Okay, so most of the reviews say to size down bc the shoes are big. So when I got these delivered I was a little nervous since I chose my typical size (7 w). I’m glad I didn’t size down bc they fit just right, I’d say there’s wiggle room (like less than a finger) and I’m ok with that, tho I did get low tops so idk if the low tops are normal sized and the others are bigger. I find them to be comfortable and I like how they look with my outfits so far. These have become my favorite shoes less than a week in haha. Worth the money in my opinion. oh and for people who don’t know chuck 70s have a removable insole so don’t get scared if it comes out or something. I know I did when I got my first pair :)

Listen — I love Chuck Taylor’s and have worn all kinds since at least the age of 12. However, these are incredibly narrow at the toe. They are a completely different fit and inconsistent with any Chuck I’ve ever owned. Buyer beware — if you’re looking for an upgraded premium Chuck this is not it. It’s premium material, sure — but the fit is not what you expect.

I relied on the reviews here to select sizing, including one reviewer who said that she normally took a size 9 or 9.5, and that size 8 worked for her. I thought that size 8 would also work for me, given that I normally wear women’s size 8.5 in Chuck Taylors and size 9 in pretty much everything else. Unfortunately, the size 8 were uncomfortably tight, even when I took the thick insoles out. I really wanted to make these work, but these squeeze my feet so much that I’m sure I won’t be able to break them in. I’ll be returning them, and am unable to re-order size 9 because it’s sold out :( I’m not sure if the sizing is inconsistent between batches or if they’ve fixed the sizing issues, but I’d say that this size 8 is on the less generous side of size 8.5, so it’s ... Love this playful take on the classic Chuck Taylors. I’ve been wearing Chucks since my teen years so when I saw the Comme de garçon collab, I had to have to have them. So cute and unique. I was worried about the sizing. I wear a women’s size 7 and the mens size 5 in black was perfect. Very comfy, stylish well made and super cool. I will be buying at least two more when they are restocked. Awesome!
