Comfy!!!
As far as converse go, I've had many other pairs before and I know I wear a Women's 8 (I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 in most other shoes), and this shoe fits how I had anticipated. I love the comfy sole of this shoe! One thing about this style is that it doesn't have the loop on the tongue of the shoe to keep the shoelaces in place, but I haven't decided if that's a big deal because the loop isn't always helpful anyways. Love the color I got. It looks different in different lightings, but I think that makes it versatile. I was a bit hesitant about trying the Chuck 70 model, but I would recommend it over the classic Chuck Taylor's if not for the cushioned sole alone.... Show more

Compliment magnets!
These are very comfortable and easy to walk in - not at all heavy or clunky-feeling. For hightops they are quite easy to lace up and then unlace/take off. No lie - the first time I wore them in public, the office manager at the vet's office complimented them when she greeted me, then mentioned them again when she said goodbye. I felt like a kid on the first day of school!... Show more

Different shape, material, and color
I gave these a try, thinking they'd be like vintage All Stars high tops. Unfortunately, they seem less formed to the ankle, and less wide at the mid-foot, with a pointer toe. The off-white doesn't give authentically old, just yellowish, and the material feels more hard plastic than the newer rubbery texture. All in all, ended up immediately returning.... Show more

Fun to Wear
I'm enjoying my Converse but they're a little challenging to put on since there's no support at the back above the heel. I have a size 6 foot and these still make my feet look big. Even so I like the show and I like the color because it goes with everything. Also they're more comfortable than I thought they'd be. I can wear them for long walks.... Show more

Just like the chucks I wore as a kid
Closest to the original chucks I wore as a kid. Right down to the place for name inside tongue , classic! I would recommend going the half size up from your size in regular all stars. Super comfortable with new insole and very sturdy design.... Show more

Look Great, frustrating fit
The color is awesome. That said, they’re the most frustrating fit… narrow and don’t come in wide options, but kind of long. I ordered 1/2 size down as recommended, painfully narrow across the top, too snug. Exchanged for a 1/2 size bigger, my usual 9, and they're still a bit narrow, but a smidge long. The toe box is also VERY shiny, like it’s sealed in a gloss. I want to love them, but 3/5 stars at best.... Show more

My New Favorite Chucks
I’ve been wearing Size 7 All Stars for decades and these Chuck 70’s fit me perfectly in a size 7 for anyone wondering if there is a fit difference between them. I have wide feet, double E (EE) in boots and these fit me well like the All stars did, not too narrow. The Chuck 70’s are much better comfort wise than the Allstars in my opinion with the comfort soles (Which Are Replaceable!) and the overall sturdier build of the shoe, you can actually feel the difference in the thicker canvas and the rubber soles. I really like the narrower look that the high sidewall and the set back toe cap outline give the shoe. The rubber has a very glossy finish that’s not as distracting as I thought it might be. I purchased the Universe Teal and Tawny Owl versions and both are nice ... If these Chuck 70’s hold up at least as well as regular Allstars I’ll probably never buy another pair of regular Allstars again.... Show more

Perfect fit and color!
I followed the suggestion to size down since these run a bit big. At first I thought I had made a big mistake. They were a little tight and thought I was going to have to return but after 3-4 minutes of wearing them around the house the canvas material relaxed and these fit like a glove. Love the color too!... Show more

quality isn't as great
I've been wearing Chucks since the 90s and these are just not the same quality I'm used to. The plastic is very shiny, the shoes seem to be more narrow than before, and the tongue is missing the tab to keep it in place with the shoe laces. They are listed as running large but in my opinion, they definitely do not. I bought my regular size (7 in women) and they actually fit very snuggly...enough so where I should have actually bought a half-size up for better comfort. Love the color but overall pretty disappointed.... Show more

Rund very small in size
Very wrong size and label , my daughter outgrew big kids size 4 converse and wearing 5.5 now in most of her shoes. Ordered these converse in 5.5 women size and received 5.5 shoe that is smaller than her old kids size 4 shoes . Markings on the shoes are wrong, New one show US 5.5 W, UK 3.5 . old one shows US 4 UK is still UK3.5 , so US sizes are way off.... Show more
