In 1917, Converse launched the Converse All Star basketball shoe onto the market. Six years later, the sports shoe Converse All Star received Chuck Taylor's signature on his rubber badge, which honoured the innovative spirit of basketball legend Taylor. To this day, the "Chucks" have maintained their cult status and belong to the standard equipment of every shoe wearer.
