Converse Women's Chuck Taylor All Star Low-top Sneakers - Black - Size 8

I first discovered Converse when I was 10 years old. Fast forward 10+ years later, these are still my favorite shoe brand. They are comfortable, stylish, monochromatic in color, and I love them. As much as they are a casual shoe, I have been hiking, biking, sand walking, etc. with them. I keep mine fairly clean (except the photos in the videos show I’ve slacked off the last 30 days lol). I don’t have mine anymore, that is why I don’t have a picture to share. I do want to get a new one as soon as possible, because these are the most comfortable shoes ever! And it is so convenient to have it around because it can give any outfit some good twist and make you look stylish without much! The one I had, was with me for many years, and if I haven’t moving m, and needed to pick very carefully what to bring with me, I am pretty sure I could have kept it for another year or so! So definitely very durable! I love converse! I highly recommend

I cried when I tried these on for the first time. I've always been a huge fan of converse because I love how they look, but as someone with wide feet, I used to have to size up and I have always endured a painful and long breaking in process. I loved how they looked, but they were always too long for my feet to make up for the width. I was hopeful when I saw that Converse sells wide width shoes now, but these SURPASSED my expectations! Never in my life did I think I would be able to try on a pair of converse straight out of the box and have them fit my foot like a glove. I felt like Cinderella! These are my new favorite shoes and I plan to buy them in a handful of colors. Classic

I do not agree that these run large. Chuck Taylors have always been narrow. I wore a 5.5/7.5 for years (when I could find them). Since I've been working on getting my feet back to their natural shape, I've moved away from narrow shoes but some outfits just need classic Chucks. I went with an 6/8 wide and am happy with them. My toes don't feel bunched or get hot spots on the outside of my little toe. The heels are a bit wider than I need but I'm happy with them. I tried both a 7.5 and an 8 and there really wasn't much of a size different when I compared them, so I went with the 8s.

I’ve worn size 10 in chucks for years (I wear an 11.5 in Nike) and they were always making my feet cramp by the end of the day. I went to an outlet to try on 10.5, and those were too long. So I made the decision to purchase at 60. At the outlet I also noticed that all classic All Stars had a new liner on the inside, not just canvas. It seems like a softer cotton was stitched on the inside. It also feels more comfy when slipped on. So I was a fan of my black pair, just not the white pair. Love them despite the tongue issue

Long time Chuck wearer. I love these shoes and they are perfect for my old lady orthotics and arch supports since they have flat bottoms. Giving four stars because the tongue is too long and it rubs the front of my ankle. I compared with an older pair and the tongues weren’t always this long so I’m not sure when they thought lengthening that was necessary but I wish they’d shorten it again. I work around it by tying the laces BEHIND the tongue to keep it away from the skin but it would be cool to not have to worry about front ankle blisters. Still, I’ve been wearing these for too long to give up on them. Would buy again, I’ll just whine about the tongue when I do.

Perfect Converse

I marked these true to size since the size chart recommends sizing down. I usually wear a 9.5W shoe and got these in a solid 9W. They are PERFECT in every way: 1. They are the most beautiful shade of a bubblegum/hot pink. 2. They are very comfortable! 3. They have the tab that keeps the tongue of your shoe in place. You know that little piece of fabric under your laces that you weave the laces through? Why do some converse NOT have that anymore? It bothers me so much when the tongue of a high top is all the way to the side. Anyways, get these shoes. Highly recommend 🩷

Perfect warm weather sneakers.

I always like converse all stars for the warm weather. They are the perfect summer sneakers. The canvas feels very stiff when they are new but my old ones after 4 years the canvas is softer. They feel kinda wonky at first but I think all good sneakers have a break in time. I always go a whole size down in these, and get the wide width which is really like a regular width. I love them cause they are the only sneakers I like to wear when it’s hot out and they go with everything.

Stitching in the back

I decided to order the wide width on these in white and I love them! They're so cute! But they do run long. I am normally a 7 or 7.5 in shoes and I ordered those sizes here (they say to size down, but I figured the 7 would fit). The 7s were comfortable but still too long so I ordered the 6.5. Length was perfect but the heels were rubbing when I tried them on and I noticed that the 6.5 had stitching in the inner back of the heel that the 7s and 7.5s didn't have.
