I love the subtle taste of maple sugar! it goes really well in vegan cream frostings or when you need to cover fried desserts in sugar. Add a little arrowroot or tapioca flour/starch to the sugar and grind it in a spice/coffee grinder to get the icing sugar consistency you need.

This has been my go-to sugar for a long time (once I found out about it!!) Becoming allergic to cane sugar put me on a quest to find something other than honey; sometimes I want a different flavor or something sweeter than date sugar, and you don't have to alter a recipe to work in an additional liquid, like honey. Organic - check! Natural - check! Flavorful - check! Mixes well with other ingredients - check! I recently started using it to make "frosting" - YAY! Butter (or Smart Balance), Coombs Maple Sugar, Tapioca Starch, and whatever extract would work well with the cake or cupcake flavor. Cinchy! Ordering more! Enjoy!

Very good quality, dissolves easily. Good replacement for white or brown sugar. Good for baking too. However, it’s a quite a small pack, it doesn’t last long. It’s quite an expensive sugar to be honest but it’s still a good substitute for normal sugar. The taste is mild, organic ingredient, so all in all a good product, pls give me a thumbUp thanks
I have been trying different types of sugar, like coconut sugar and maple sugar. I like the taste of this. Not as nutty as coconut sugar. Plenty of sweetness. I use it in overnight oats and in yogurt. Also in sweet cottage cheese recipes

Coombs is one of my favorite brands of organic pure maple sugar. Its flavor is true and rich, and I enjoy being able to add that maple taste without out adding liquid volume to my baked goods. The overall quality and texture makes it one of the best. Knowing that it is simply pure maple sugar with no added ingredients makes me feel good about sharing it with my friends and family.
As the previous review states this description says this is for 6 x 6 oz. Completely false information.One 6 oz package per order. Unfortunately, I did not read the review as I did not feel I needed to read reviews on a specific product of Maple Sugar. Extremely unhappy with this false advertisement.
i usually get my maple sugar from a local source. they were out of stock, so i tried this. it was good. it's a bit more coarse in texture than i'm used to and took more to break it down, but overall it was pretty good. i use maple sugar in place of other sugars in cooking, baking, and beverages.
