Love these Livingware Winter Frost serving bowls. They are thin and space saving. They are just the right size @64 ounces for a chef salad, popcorn or a larger side dish. The Winter frost dishes are lite and stack well enough to fit in a small space. The price was good for a product that will hold up and will look great with any style of dishes. They also can be put in the freezer, microwave, or in a warmer.

I recently decided to give up the Corelle Abundance dishes and accessories I have had for over 15 years. They have served me well and will continue to be enjoyed in it’s new home.To replace it, I purchased 2 sets of the Corelle Winter Frost White and am now adding in completer pieces. These bowls are nice, although I would prefer them to be a tad wider and not as deep. They just look a little “clunky” instead of sleek. They are, however, the same great Corelle quality I have always known and loved.*****The “gripe” in this review is for the same reason as the divided dishes in the same pattern, I purchased online here - the item description is FALSE. Note the picture directly from the website description. I ordered 2 “setof 3” bowls, and received 2 single bowls. I do not see that anyone else has mentioned this happening to them when scrolling these reviews now, but there are multiple reviews saying the same thing happened to them on the divided dishes review section. Walmart needs to update the item descriptions to reflect exactly what the buyer is purchasing so there is no surprise, or in my case, extreme disappoint.

I love my Corelle dishes. I have had them for 33 years and recently needed to replace some pieces because of wear. My favorite features about Corelle is they are lightweight and slim but extremely durable and can go into the microwave and oven. And dishwasher safe too! These are my only everyday dishes and I am so glad that Corelle continues to make replacement pieces. I got my friends and family hooked on Corelle also.

When our daughter visited last month she commented that her bowls didn't last like the bowls we have used for a number of years at our home. She was in need of new bowls. Her old set was not Corelle. My wife and I are very satisfied with Corelle frosted glass wear that has lasted many years. We decided to give our daughter and her family a set of bowls as one of our Christmas presents. Something that she and her family need and will use every day and will last many years.
I previously had one of these bowls, used it a lot. 0ne day, sitting on the counter, it just split into 3 pieces. If I remember correctly, I had removed it from the refrigerator and the sun was shining on it for about 10 minutes. I could never find that size again in local stores open stock. I was so happy to find them online, ordered 2, just in case!!! Love Corelle, have used it for 35 years.
This shatterproof 28 oz. Corelle bowl, made in the U.S., doesn't really need any recommendations. They've been around for over 20 years, haven't changed, hold up well and seldom break, are affordable, and don't have much competition. Most soup bowls are big, wide and low. These Corelle 28 oz. bowls are good for soup and breakfast cereal since they're less likely to spill due to their height!! And any stains can be removed by letting some vinegar soak in them!! Only downside is they take up a lot of room stored in cabinets.
I replaced my heavy stoneware dishes because I am over 65 and they got too heavy to lift. I have always wanted Corelle and I have not been disappointed. They are light but sturdy. This 28 ounce bowl is perfect for heating up a can of soup and I can carry it to the table without spilling any. I am very satisfied with my purchases. I am spending less on buying several pieces at a time rather than buying a large set at one time.
I've given sets of these 1-quart bowls as standalone gifts, and they're always a big hit because they are so practical!I've owned six of them for decades, use them daily, and haven't broken or chipped one yet. (Knock on wood.) I just love them! They are marketed as serving bowls for the table. But I find them to be more useful at holding individual servings of salad, soup, stew, pasta, and the like, as they afford extra room to stir or mix contents without spilling it. They are not ideal for cereal.Vitrelle is very strong and lightweight, but it's not unbreakable. It will chip if abused, and shatter if dropped, especially on tile.Dishwasher and microwave oven safe, it's a healthier choice over nuking in plastic. But it gets very hot, so be mindful of that. The thinness of Vitrelle makes it easy to stack, so it takes up less storage space. The neutral colors, white or sandstone, means more versatility. They mix and match well with other dishware, patterns or solids. But nevertheless I do wish Corelle would offer this specific size/shape bowl in other color and pattern choices too.
I had these bowls years ago and they were diehards in that they lasted forever. I'm hoping these will be the same. My only concern is the circle at the bottom whereby it looks like the bowl was glued together. My other bowls only developed this type of circle after many years of use with hot liquids. But I am hoping and I'm hopeful that these will last me!
First off the bowl is great. The price for these bowls is not. In all fairness, Canadian Tire had the most reasonable price for this small bowl. It was priced less at Canadian Tire than what other retailers were asking for it. I was just astonished that I could buy large soup bowls for half the price of what this little bowl was going for. It has to be that Corelle is charging the retailers a lot of money for their inventory.
