Aesthetically, the product arrived just as described and I am generally very happy with the purchase. I was disappointed to find one chipped upon delivery, especially since I have never had one of these plates chip before. Not to mention, the selling feature (and reason for purchasing) is that they are chip-resistant. This makes me skeptical of any future purchases or product integrity. Fortunately, Corelle customer service was excellent and a replacement dish is on the way.

I have a large set of white Corelle Dinnerware that has serve our family and guest for many of years. What I like about this product it is light weight, easy to clean and you can microwave your food in the dish. Corelle Dinnerware is great for everyday dishes. As my family increased, I would add extra plates or bowls to my collection. I like my set so much that I sent a starter set for my grandson. When the box arrived, he found that 2 of the bowls were stuck together and 1 bowl was broken. If he had told me right then, I know all the bowls would have been replaced. I will purchase more bowls to add to his Dinnerware starter set. It will be a nice gift.

These were purchased to add to an existing set of Corelle dishes purchased in 1973. To date all pieces are still in tact. While I can't speak to how long these will last since Corelle has tweaked the manufacturing process since our purchase of the original set, I can say that the original set has been great. It has lasted through multiple moves (military life), with portions of it traveling to other states to see two children through college one of whom even took it through two more years of active duty in an apartment with three other soldiers.

I got so mad when my ceramic plates chipped while unloading the dishwasher, that I vowed to fine a durable chip resistant dinner set. So I ordered these along with the Old town blue set for variety. Everything arrived on time and no shattered dishes. After unpacking, handling, and washing both sets of dishes, I found one of the snack sized plates had a sharp edge. i contacted the company and they are shipping me a replacement immediately. These are possibly the greatest plates made , especially for daily use. They are light , durable and clean easily !I went for a few years after a divorce with ceramic plates. They were heavy and got hot in the microwave (hotter than the food) 😂 so I decided it was time to upgrade the kitchen . new silverware , plates , China all the way down to actual Japanese rice bowls. It was a challenge to get all this to match and look nice but I pulled it off my daughter and grand kids were impressed the old man could do all that with no help. In the end the favorite thing is this set of dishes and their versatility from daily to fancy
There isn't any comparison between these bowls and any other. They are the best. A bit expensive but they will last the rest of your life.They are unbreakable. Super light. They don't get hot in the microwave (well sort of if the thing inside get's super hot like oatmeal). Semi-oven-proof. Slick and easy to clean. Thin and stackable (you can fit about a million in a cupboard ). Between these bowls and the plates, I use about 1/2 the space and have extra room for cups and mugs. I would buy these in every color of the rainbow if I could (unfortunately Corelle's pattern selections are the most dull).
I moved away from the extra heavy ironstone ceramic ware and to Corelle. I have purchased several different patterns... but I really loved the subtle, soft gray of this set. The gray is soft and I would say SLIGHTLY taupe gray - so less blue gray, very slightly brown gray - in case that is super important to you. Looks great with the frost white pieces I have. What is the greatest thing about Corelle... several things... lightweight, but nearly unbreakable (they WILL break - but you gotta really hit it just right or try super hard)... takes up very little space because they are thin. I bought them for durability. I wanted something that looked nice but would last. Within a week the kids had already dropped a bunch of these on the floor, and they survived a fall of about 2-3 feet. Not broken or even chipped. Around here, it's durable or it's destroyed. These are a lot nicer than plastic.Update: a dinner plate did not survive a fall of 4 feet. Sad to lose it, but not unexpected. Shattered into tiny pieces. Is there anything more durable that's also microwave and dishwasher safe, and isn't plastic? Not changing my rating, I'm still pleased overall.
