The items were not packaged properly. Just 3 bowls shoved into a box with no paper and no bubble wrap. Those items didn't stand a chance to get delivered whole, yet 2 out of 3 bowls look like they are whole for now (not sure how long will they last after such rough journey).

After years of using all kinds of brands and styles of dishes, I've gone back to the basics- the classic Corelle. These are lightweight (who needs to constantly wash and carry heavy dishes all the time), they don't crack, chip, and are very hard to break. Yes, they do break, after 20 years of raising kids, I only had 1 plate break, on a concrete patio at an outdoor BBQ gathering. It's hard to believe how very little space they take up compared to other dishes I've used. Raised my kids, purchased different dishes and after 5 years of continually having broken, cracked and chipped dishes, said enough! I went back to Corelle. These bowls go with anything and everything when setting a family table, or holiday table. Corelle is GREAT! We always find we need more pieces. These large bowls are perfect for our lunch salads -- more things too, of course, but since we have lunch salads daily,... we needed more. Microwavable and dishwasher safe too!

Had 1980's Corelle from parents I have been using since 90's. We bought these to add to big feast serving (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc.). These are almost unbreakable, light, microwave and dishwasher safe. Need to buy a set for my son's house now. When I bought these a year ago they were $25ish and unfortunately for me, Corelle is going up in price.My son has an ancient stoneware set and I agree with other comments that Corelle is so much easier to handle due to lower weight and hard to break.
I love corelle ware. I am not sure how much I will use the larger size. I recently broke one that I had = to the 3 smaller bowls. I like they are very lightweight and do not break easily. Since I have arthritis in my hands I drop things regularly. I is amazing how often I have dropped this stuff and it didn't break. They one draw back is when it does break. It breaks in terribly sharp shards. They have to be carefully picked up for everyone's safety. Other drawback is the cost. I wish they could offer Corelle at a slightly lower price. the price is not bad for what I purchase. Just if it were cheaper I would buy more of it.
I have a few of these Corelle bowls in a larger size, one of the size down broke as I dropped it on the floor. You can't imagine how helpful these bowls are in the kitchen. I have been looking all over to replace the one I broke and I was so lucky to find them at Walmart. Got them and are ready to be used. I will definitely order some more. Great delivery too.
I wasn’t expecting the bowls to be as big as they are, so that was a nice surprise. You can fit mammoth sized portions in these bowls making them perfect for family gatherings. The great size combined with Corell quality makes these a winner. It took almost a month for these to arrive after I ordered them, but they were well worth the wait. I am using one for Christmas for mashed potatoes, and another for fruit salad. I will use these frequently year round. These are a real bargain. I am so glad I found them.
Love these Corelle bowls! They are lightweight and sturdy. Break resistant, but when they do break, they shatter! I think repeatedly using them in the microwave weakens them somehow.
The bowls get 5 stars. Walmart barely gets 1 star. They showed up in a box only slightly bigger than the bowls. No packing or bubble wrap. They were just loose. When FedEx put them on my door step I heard them rattling. I informed the driver they were glass bowls and he looked worried. The shipping box was fine (again no inner package or bubble wrap) he waited for me to open the box. It is a miracle they were ok. But right off the bat the life of these bowls have been shortened due to the shock they went thru to get here.
