Love this set. The classic white goes with any occasion and also perfect for a family with young children as the dishes are made last and hold up to being dropped. We’ve had this set from over 20 years ago and have added several pieces since to accommodate our growing family. I also like that they’re dishwasher and microwave safe

Best set ever!

My grandfather had a set of these bowls which is where I first came across them and I loved them. They were so durable and lightweight which made me decide to buy some for myself. I have a little girl who likes to help set the table and with this set I don’t have to worry as much about her dropping them and the plates shattering. I couldn’t recommend this set enough. It’s hard to picture myself ever buying another brand after buying these. I highly recommend this set!

Classic, light, oven/dishwasher/mic safe= Perfect!

Simple and perfect! Moved son into 1st college apartment and wanted something clean, simple and light for future moves and remembered my oldest sister's Corelle from many years ago. Went in search and could not believe they were still out there and still made in Corning NY! (Especially pleased about that as there is no telling what is in what are supposed to be oven safe dishes today!) Happily purchased a set in addition to several extra pieces. Given their light weight, versatility, and durability, I expect they will be easy to move and with him for a long time to come. Very pleased!

Durable Dinnerware

I am enjoying my dinnerware. I chose Correlle because the dinnerware will not crack or chip. It’s tough! Also, I chose solid white for its versatile uses. I can decorate with colored, patterned napkins and tablecloths. Adding other items like flowers, table runner, sprinkles, etc. All of this can bring color into the table setting. Loving my dinnerware!

Exactly what we needed!

This is a really nice dinnerware set. These dishes are classic with a simple elegance, space saving since they stack very well, and most importantly to us, non toxic and lead free.They don't scuff or mar and silverware doesn't leave marks. They are a lot stronger then they look as well, I accidentally hit the edge of a stack of plates on my granite countertop. I expected to find that I had cracked some of the plates but there was zero damage, the plates survived my clumsiness. I was both amazed and relieved. We've already received compliments, this is really a perfect set of dinnerware.

Ideal for elegant dining and carrying in an RV

I bought these because the last time i was satisfied in every respect that i had wished for, and thus had utter confidence in the product. Corelle is unique among all types of dinnerware. It is neither porcelain nor crockery (and also doesn't share their cost, weight, and tendency to chip or break when dropped), nor is it melamine, a plastic, or similar material. It is also not paper or cardboard, which may beat it in terms of weight, but who wants to eat off a plate that disintegrates during use? That bends, breaks and launches your food to the floor (or at another person!) That children have an especially hard time handling? I have higher standards when it comes to dining. I had the same set in a beige color for our previous RV, and it served me and my deceased husband in good stead for over twenty years. Now i am alone, and i needed a smaller one. I sold the beige Corelle dishes with the RV, and bought these white ones for the new one. They are excellent anywhere, but are especially well-suited for RV life! They nest so well that four plates together don't add up to a lot of space, the pack doesn't rattle in transit (i do put one paper towel between the plates), and I don't have to worry about breakage! Unlike melamine, which may be as sturdy but is not as personally satisfying as the laminated glass of Corelle is, it can go in the microwave and even the oven! What other product can you say that about! The practicality alone makes it stand head and shoulders above the competition! I enjoy setting a nice table, eating off good plates and using S/S utensils. I am indeed very pleased!

Love my new dishes!

I’ve never had Corelle ware and thought why not. We just remodeled and saw how scratched up our old heavy dishes were. I also wanted dishes that were safe from lead and other unhealthy materials. I’ve always loved the clean simple look of white. I bought 2 sets of 6 dinner plates, 6 salad plates and 6 bowls. I also purchased 2 18 oz. meal bowls. Loving them all! Very light weight and compact in our cupboard. Made in USA too. Thanks Corelle! Shipping was fast and easy too.

Minimal Perfection!

These dishes are a breath of fresh air! We said: out with our old, heavy, chipped, mismatched set of dishes and in with these bad boys! I love the plain white - looks even more elegant than I was expecting in-person. Washing and putting them away is a breeze because they're so lightweight! My kitchen is cleaner because of this set!! I didn't realize the smaller plate was a dessert plate (kind of little), but they've been serving us well thus-far. And they're made in the USA?! Amazing. It's clear these dishes have so much value. Excited to hold on to them for years to come!

Quality Control is lacking

I purchased two sets of these. Every dinner plate (6x) from one set is stained with small, rusty looking brown spots/streaks on the underside of the plate. I scrubbed the heck out of each item and can not remove the stains, they look to be "baked" in and part of the product itself. I waited months for Winter Frost White sets to become available before purchase and although the marring does directly not impact it's function, it does detract from the overall aesthetic, especially when this product is entirely white. When I pay for a new product I expect that product to be flawless, however these do not hold up to that standard. Here are a few example photos showing the flaws, these should never have made it past quality control.

Would have been great if they looked brand new.

The concept is cute but the quality of what was delivered didn’t seem brand new. The plates were kind of warped, so they don’t stack completely straight and you can see the bend in the edges from the side. There were also these weird spots on the sides, which are super noticeable because they’re all white. Not sure if I got a set that someone had returned previously? But they’re plates so, what ever, we’ll use them. I got a broken mug in the same delivery, but when I wrote to customer service they only replaced the mug and not the plate set.
