Corelle Winter Frost White 591ml Bowl Set (6-Piece) | Tableware

If you use the Corell Living Ware Winter White, these match that style. The pasta dish is so practical too. It is great for three stage coating like for chicken fingers or fish or anything that has to be dredged (you know: flour, egg, breadcrumbs - for frying or oven baking). Also great for a small to medium salad, and of course, a side of pasta. Or even really sloppy sandwiches like pulled pork or drippy burgers or beef sandwiches like Philly Cheesesteak or French Dip sandwiches.

Best pasta bowls!

I own the Enhancements dinnerware set., and the Iris set I have had them for years. I have 4 kids and now 6 grandkids and they have survived. I bought a set of 12 white pasta bowls in Winter Frost because I loved the bigger bowl . They are awesome and look great. I no longer have to take out my expensive porcelain China bowls when I need larger bowls. They match everything and best of all ... all of my Corelle dinnerware 2 complete 12 person place settings can Stack together and fit in my kitchen cabinet . 24 place settings dinner plates, cereal bowls , pasta bowls, luncheon plates and even the porcelain mugs.. and the pasta bowls look great and have so much room for an adult portion of soup or pasta! Expensive!!

I love this corral. I have used it for many many years. I bought these pieces as a gift for someone and then when I was at Meijer I saw they had the same identical items and they turned out to be about 35% less than I had paid at Walmart. So I got the Meyer dishes and took the Walmart dishes back.

Great Price, Multiple Uses, Buy These

Walmart had the best price. We use these all the time for pasta, soups, and stews. They look nice on the table. They're also useful as serving bowls, for your flour, egg, and bread crumbs when breading, making french toast, or meal or recipe prep. You can also serve a sandwich with a side of chips in these and they make it easy to tote your little bowl of heaven over to the couch or out to the hammock. Great for kids or anyone whose meal tends to migrate over the edges of their plate. If I could only have ONE option for a bowl or a plate due to a small space or budget concerns, these might be my pick. They're that versatile and useful.

It stands the test of time.

My mother was given a set of Corelle dishes when they first came out. To prove they were unbreakable a family member dropped one of the plates on the tile floor - and it survived! Those pieces lasted another 40 years without looking any different than they did the day Mom got them. They stood the test of time. I purchased these to fill my place settings out. The plain white goes with everything. And the cost is affordable. Thank you Correlle!

Not marked on back of bowls as other bowls

This is the second time I have purchased these bowls. I appreciate their utility/usefulness. However, the bowls in this purchase were not marked on the back as the first set of six that I previously purchased. This set of six contains a marking on the back of "Corelle Made in USA". There is no additional marking stating that the bowls are break and chip resistant, nor do they have a cautionary marking of "Do not use on stovetop or under broiler". I realize that the online item feature's description states more about the bowls, but the fact is that they are not marked as all my other bowls which gives me pause as to whether the bowls are seconds, are not the same quality as the other bowls that are marked on the back, and may pose a potential hazard by omitting the ... MoreThis is the second time I have purchased these bowls. I noticed that one of the bowls has a removeable sticky label that contains a drawing of what appears to be a dishwasher and a microwave with additional info on the back of the label that is difficult to read. As a result, at this point, I don't feel comfortable using the bowls in the microwave or oven as my other bowls, especially since the one label I found on a bowl does not contain a drawing of an oven nor if they are break and chip resistant.

Pasta bowls

I originally got these because I wanted something for dinner soups and stews for the winter months and cereal bowls just weren't bit enough. These were perfect! I originally purchased a set of 6 last fall, and I loved them. I loved them so much that I purchased the dinner plates, salad plates, cereal bowls and desert bowls to match them. They are thin but sturdy, meaning they can stand up to my loaded dinners and still store better than stoneware in the cabinet as 12 of these plates take up as much space as 4 stoneware plates. I also love that they are just plain white. They can be casual enough for just me and the hubby eating dinner in front of the tv or they can be dressed up on a table scape for a fancier get together. Perfect Pasta Bowls!

Being Corelle, these pasta (or most anything) bowls are just about perfect! Believe it or not, in my 50 years, I have never owned Corelle, but family members have. I say these are just about perfect because the only slight downside is how hot they get in the microwave (which I was not expecting). However, I just use a bowl cozy or another bowl underneath. I also love the low profile of these bowls and how lightweight they are ~ they are pretty easy to hold for someone who has severe arthritis in their hands. They are plain white ~ but that is fine. I have another pasta bowl set that is ceramic and has a raised design, which are not always easy to clean. These Corelle bowls are JUST what I was looking for and wish I had considered them sooner! Poorly packed box and delivery

The box the bowls came in was not marked fragile. The smaller box which contain the bowls inside the larger box did not have any packing material underneath it. Although both gates to my house were unlocked the delivery person just dropped the box over my fence onto the concrete driveway, resulting in one of the 6 bowls breaking. They could have opened one of the gates and gently placed the box by my front door.

Timeless

I have had the same set of Corelle Winter Frost White Dishes since they were invented in 1975. I’ve had only 2 bowls break and I was able to replace them under the warranty for FREE. They definitely last a lifetime or more! The Color Winter Frost White is versatile allowing me to set my table and decorate with any color of decor I choose.
