This bowl looks great - all by itself! However, if you purchase 10 of these and stack them in your cupboard they will have the shape of a Cat in the Hat look. These bowls do not ‘nest’ aesthetically or efficiently. They ‘stick’ together which I assume will get worse over time, and at times it takes 2 hands to grab a bowl from the cupboard.I love Corelle so I will order a different shaped bowl to replace these new ones. I never expected to experience this type design flaw in a Corelle item.

I have been a Corelle customer since 1979. I have had 3 different patterns. This bowl was ordered for my daughter who moved into a new house & wanted to have all the practicality of Corelle. She was sick of her heavy, over sized square plates which were no longer enjoyable for everyday dining, with an active toddler & a new baby on the way. My son-in-law loves the pattern.
We bought some Cherish plates this winter and didn't want the matching bowls. We've used and have some of the bowls that come with the sets. They're shorter with a curved lip. This are taller with straight sides. I put the two bowls side-by-side and filled them with exactly the same amount of water. They both hold the same amount comfortably even though these are 2 oz smaller. The straight sides make all the difference. I prefer these because food is less likely to slop out as you carry them. While they could stack better, we already own some of the smaller ice cream sized bowls and they don't stack as well either, so we were prepared. We use Corelle because we have small children.
The description of the size of these bowls is misleading. They look deeper on the screen and even though they hold 4 oz. more than the smaller ones, which I had purchased before and were insufficient, you cannot put much more cereal in these than you can put in the smaller ones. I kept the smaller ones for my cats to eat out of but I am returning these to Macy's.
Bought it to sample as a potential use in large 2000+ facility. Doesn't break or chip after dropping onto granite countertop or floor. Doesn't stain. Checks all boxes except one; any product used in the bowls hotter than 140 degrees, the end user can feel it through the bowl, potential burn. Otherwise, good product.
I have arthritis and another illness that often makes my hands not work as well as they should. My old dishes were very heavy and I found that I was dropping them and breaking them. The Corelle bowls and dishes are wonderfully light and easy for my hands to manage even on my worst pain days. They are also attractive to look at as well, so I did not have to give up beauty for helpfulness in my dishware. Thank you Corelle!
OMG!!! THESE SO CALL "SERVING BOWLS" ARE SOooo SMALL! THEY ARE MORE LIKE CEREALS BOWLS!!! ERRR... SO DISAPPOINTED....... I INTENTIONALLY DID NOT ORDER THE CEREAL BOWLS BECAUSE I WANTED LARGER BOWLS. Not worth even on sale price....... the picture and the price are very misleading. Just received them, but they are going back!
I bought these bowls to serve French onion soup. I did not put these in the oven as it would have difficult to remove them from the baking sheet without burning myself. I would also have preferred a bit of a rim and a little less volume. Otherwise, they worked fine and are classically attractive. But as they are bigger than I wanted, they do not fit well on my cupboard shelves when other dishes share the space. I am storing them in the basement until needed again.
