Corkcicle Classic Sports Canteen 600ml - Matt Black

Was always a little skeptical with corkcicle, but I was noticing some really great designs, (sleek, dark, manly/man-like colors.) I even showed some Disney ones for my wife and some other ones, so I got the idea to buy two, one for me, and one for my wife. I love mine! I have the gray one and it looks awesome and it is easily holdable. I have barely noticed the amount of hours it is cold because I drink enough water several times that I fill up quite a bit. I would recommend these bottles and even corkcicle to anyone. The designs are amazing! You can even get discounts on them through points or if you are a government employee. (Talking to you teachers out there.) Buy one, you won’t regret it!

I did hours of research before buying this bottle, since I've had the same non insulated stainless steel water bottle for over 10 years and wasn't familiar with the water bottle market. Replacing my old dented bottle was long overdue but I knew I'd be spending a decent amount of money and wanted to ensure I was spending wisely. Both my husband and I LOVE our Corkcicle water bottles. We purchased the sip cap since I'm not big on the straw cap it came with. There is nothing wrong with the straw cap, I just don't like having to clean a straw and don't mind tipping the bottle back to drink from it. This bottle looks amazing!! I love the colour and the finish on it, which is somewhat rubbery. It is pretty durable too considering the kind of a abuse a water bottle gets ... MoreI did hours of research before buying this bottle, since I've had the same non insulated stainless steel water bottle for over 10 years and wasn't familiar with the water bottle market. I love the colour and the finish on it, which is somewhat rubbery. It is pretty durable too considering the kind of a abuse a water bottle gets when it goes everywhere with you. I adore the fact that the bottom has the rubber piece, to keep it from clanging down on surfaces, especially ones that are more delicate. The design where there are flat parts on the sides of the bottle are perfect for gripping, especially considering I have small hands. The fact that the bottle narrows at the top is also awesome, as you may choose to grab or grip from there. The handle on the sip cap is durable and great for carrying. As I said previously, I love the sip cap. It's the right size, and easy to clean. I can't say enough about how much I am thrilled with every aspect of this water bottle. I chose the 40 inch size because I wanted to ensure I had enough water with me during the day and then I can hydrate at home in mornings and evenings, to top up. Other water bottle brands of this size were big and bulky, but this bottle is sleek, and it just fits in my car cup holder. It doesn't settle down into it, but it does sit on top, which is good enough for me. You have to be willing for this to happen when you're buying a large capacity water bottle. I don't like my water to be cold, except when I'm doing yard work in the hot summer weather. When I put room temperature water in this bottle, it stays room temperature, even when I leave the bottle in the car for hours in minus 35 degree celcius weather, which we have had a lot of here. I have put cold water in the bottle, and it's also kept it the same temp for hours. I will definitely be buying more these bottles. I'm obsessed!

The purpose is served by the canteen which is to hold a significant amount of liquid at a certain temperature despite outside conditions. In those regards, it works, but the cap and straw have flaws. Like most straw bottles, liquid will always remain at the bottom of the bottle that can only be drank by unscrewing the cap. The cap also leaks, sometimes from where it meets the canteen and other times from where the straw spout is (both at the opening and the bend). At times suction can be strong and it is nearly impossible to get any liquid through the straw. The latch to open the straw spout is also quite difficult to get up and requires a lot of effort. I'm not some weak person either; I am actually a professional athlete. I wouldn't purchase this specific product again. I do love Corkcicle, but not a fan of this one.
