Unsurprisingly the battery life is why I got this watch and it has not disappointed. It is so nice to take it out for long weekend ski or backpacking trips and not have to worry about charging it the whole time.During most weeks the main problem is I almost always forget where I left the charging cable because I so rarely need it.The heart rate monitor seems about average for a wrist based monitor, but I turned mine off. Also, have not used the blood oxygen monitoring, not sure how useful/reliable it is.The watch face has been very durable and has held up great. If you are looking for a simple watch, that has a reliable gps signal, will last forever, and does not try to get too fancy with too many extra features you probably don't need or won't use this is a ... MoreUnsurprisingly the battery life is why I got this watch and it has not disappointed. I purchased this watch from Skyrun Co to replace my Suunto Ambit3 Peak and was primarily interested in it for the absurd battery life and simple features I had read about time and again. After a month of use running 3-5 days a week and even a few late-season ski tours, I can say this watch was a great purchase. Not being super tech-savvy I found with the Suunto that there were just a lot of features I wasn't using or lacked the desire to learn how to use. Thankfully with the Apex Pro, I was pleasantly surprised that the setup and ease of use to operate the watch during runs was basically as simple as you could get.Coros prides itself on the Apex Pro having super long battery life and that was the primary reason that drew me to make this purchase and so far it's ... MoreI purchased this watch from Skyrun Co to replace my Suunto Ambit3 Peak and was primarily interested in it for the absurd battery life and simple features I had read about time and again. I usually charge the watch once a week generally after 6-10 hours of use and it's hardly dipped past 50 percent battery life. After having bad experiences with my Suunto Ambit3 Peak running out of battery life on long endeavors (20+ hours) I am excited to put the Apex Pro to the test. The Coros app makes pairing the watch with apps like Strava a breeze and offers very in-depth running analysis, which while I don't pay a ton of attention to, is nice to be aware of.Long battery life, simple to operate, cool watch band colors, and a decent price for a legit GPS watch make the Coros Apex Pro a great purchase. Very excited to put this watch to the test in the upcoming months. Simply put, get this watch.

I was looking to replace my Suunto GPS watch. I was looking for a watch with a more user friendly interface (on the device, phone app and ease to upload), longer battery life (the Suunto I had lasted for approx 10 hours) and a few more GPS mapping features. I looked at some reviews and went with the Coros Apex Pro.I have had it for 2 weeks, done two longer trail runs (Over 20k each), a number of shorter runs from home and everyday use. Battery is still above 50%. I love it. A++

After using Garmin products for almost 10 years, I have chosen to try a different platform/device, and after long analysis ... !! looking at other products, COROS APEX Pro did win me. After using it for 3 weeks now, battery is AMAZING ! accuracy is there heart rate excellent and GPS as well. I like the running power and I also got the pod for running dynamics vry cool.I do reccomend this product to all triathletes!
Truly and amazing watch. It has roughly been a week and I have run with it everyday and still havent needed to charge. It is easy to use and confortable to wear. Has amazing stats and tracking. Great watch for all your running activity.
Watch provides exactly what you need without the necessary bells and whistles. I don't need payment from watch or music. I just needed very easy to use interface and customizable for sports and watch does exactly that. Before buying the watch I saw some comments that dial can accidentally press against your wrist and stop the watch but this not true. You can customize the watch to either turn the dial fully or long hold for few seconds. Additionally you can configure it to have dial on the side away from wrist. Battery life is so good that you may end up forgetting where you left your charging cable.
I like the size and look of the watch. The functions are solid - heart rate, oximetry, sleep analysis. The GPS is good and fairly fast to locate your position. The buttons and lock feature is easy to use. The menu could use some finessing (e.g. have an option to move trail run right next to gym cardio instead of having to scroll through). The battery life is the main pro of this watch. The main con is that if you forget to hit 'finish' after an exercise (as I did when I recently ran the Pine to Palm 100-miler) there is no way in the watch or the Coros app or website to adjust /modify your exercise (e.g. reduce the time and distance to make it accurate). Their customer services suggested I upload the exercise to an external app and try to adjust it. Delete it from my ... MoreI like the size and look of the watch. Their customer services suggested I upload the exercise to an external app and try to adjust it. Delete it from my app. Then re-upload it. But that is extremely cumbersome when it could all be fixed very easily with an update from Coros (that I suggested they do, but they do not seem to be willing to). That's my biggest disappointment with this watch. Otherwise it's pretty cool and reasonably priced.
This watch is aweasome, it compares with the higher end watches from big brands minus the price. Sapphire and titanium as standard. Software wise it's really great, they provide updates every now and then, even to older watches like the Apex which is 4 years old already. The only problem is that you MUST take the green or white watch if you're a girl or have a very small wrist, because the black one doesn't have holes all the way. Weird choice of a concept.
Solid watch with desirable features for endurance runners. The battery life itself is a show stopper and you can kiss the handheld power bank goodbye. The altimeter is inconsistent and I frequently have to do elevation corrections. The Barometer and corresponding storm alarm is also inconsistent. While I’ve certInly been shorted on a 50 mile route, the GPS tracks reasonably well. The watch face itself is smaller than my Sunto Ambit Peak 3, so my middle-aged eyes struggle with some of the displays. The watch face has also taken a bit of a lickin’ and the sapphire glass has been resilient with no visible scratches or dings. The wrist-based, heart rate actually tracks reasonable well with an appropriate cinch of the band. Not circulation- stopping tight, but snug ... MoreSolid watch with desirable features for endurance runners. Nice watch. Good quality. Good value. For some reasons I preferred the look of the fenix and thought it was a safer bet given the long term garmin track record. But I am sure this would have been just as good, plus it has a better warranty.
