This is probably the best flash drive I've purchased to date. I wanted something I could put on my key ring and not worry about. I constantly and dropping my keys and so far, It hasn't affected it. I was concerned about the size before committing to buying, but it's just the perfect size. roughly 4" long and 1" diameter. but it just blends in with my keys. My only gripe would be that you don't have the option as to which side you can put the key ring on. The side that has the hole to mount the key ring is the side that the flash drive is attached to. If you have a heavy set of keys or whatever you happen to have this hanging on, the weight pulling down on the drive would definitely be a concern. But otherwise this is a great flash drive.

I loved that one. 4 gigs got to be too small for my needs so I upgraded to a 16 gig one that has lasted at least 6 years now. I was disappointed they moved the key chain loop to the other side where it now is attached to the USB stick instead of just the cap. I got this through New egg but from one of their re sellers called limited goods. When I purchased this it came with a 5 year manufacturers warranty supposedly just as it does as of this writing. Today when I tried to get an RMA on it Corsair said they will not replace it because the seller was not an authorized dealer and i would have to go to the seller to get it replaced. When i spoke to limited goods who is apparently now named My goods they said it was outside of the 30 day window and they would not replace it either. Last resort I went to New Egg. I have been a customer of New eggs for over a decade and they have never let me down, Customer service at New egg did say they could not replace it for me either but that they would contact both the seller and the manufacturer for me. Who knows what will come of it at this point but I do appreciate the effort from at least one of the links in the chain. I am still irked that corsair would not cover it even more so because that 5 year warranty is still there if you were to buy this item as of today. I am also Irked at the seller for refusing to replace it when they sold it with that imp-lied 5 year warranty even though they knew it would not be honored. It remains to be seen what remedy New egg comes up with but I am crossing my fingers. If you got this far TLDR Buy only from new egg directly don't use a re seller Warranty may not be honored otherwise, This one started failing on me inside of 8 months despite very sparse use.

Have had the 16Gb for a while, getting full, so upgraded. Its as tough as old boots, well nigh bomb proof, but..... couple of things to be aware of. Out of the can, it's still quite wide because the endcap is part of the drive, and can be a problem plugging into closely packed USB ports if there are other things already there. Also, it is quite bulky if you intend to carry it on your keyring. That said, if you want a drop proof, 200m waterproof pendrive, go for it. I use it for service and parts manuals for work, and it's the best !!! And, the logo makes other pen drives look girly :-)

I have had Corsair flash drives previously. I needed larger capacity. The aluminum housing is rugged, it is exactly what I need. The Corsairs are used and transported daily. The flash drive has an "O" ring to seal it against water and moisture ingress and an attachment point for a lanyard. The flash drive is made in Taiwan which is better than being made in China. The only small downside is that after a lot of use the exterior rubber shock absorbers lose some flexibility.

This is not accurate as my security file is a little over 5gb in size. It took me a little time to realize that this drive had left Corsair formatted in FAT 32 and of course the maximum file size that FAT 32 can handle is 4gb. Quickly fixed by re-formatting in NTFS, although strange choice of Corsair to format in FAT 32 (not worth removing any eggs for this though). I was dubious of the speed difference between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 (assuming you have native USB 3.0 motherboard capability), but the drive certainly felt faster when writing to and reading from it. I ran some tests in Sandra and was extremely surprised to find that USB 3.0 was over 100% faster than USB 2.0 (77mb/s vs 32mb/s), IOPS were even more telling showing a clear speed benefit when formatted in NTFS instead of FAT 32 (1000 vs 575). This is a truly speedy flash drive. This drive comes with a long 5 year warranty and is built like a brick outhouse. My five year old likes to play with my tech toys and to my horror I found him playing with this drive in his bath. I have never needed to test the waterproof capabilities of a flash drive before but I sure am happy to report that this flash drive is indeed fully waterproof. This drive will last me a long time, I completely recommend it, it is fast, tough, great value and comes with excellent warranty. Just remember for best performance format in NTSC especially if you want to use it with files that hold more than 4gb of data.
Awesome design and quality build. If you want a cute little chip to drop into your shirt pocket this isn't it. If you want a nearly bullet-proof, waterproof, crush proof rough use unit that not only protects itself but fights back, this is it. I have one of the originals at 16gb and it's been dropped in the snow, run over bu a bicycle, slapped around in the bottom of a duffel bag for a year, wiped off and put back to work. These are a wonderful design and I just bought two more. Just wish they came with the little chain like they used too.
This is the third Corsair high-capacity flash drive I own. The first two were the older, rubber-bodied style, which work well - no problems whatsoever - but I do worry about the normal effects of age on the rubber bodies. This new, aluminum-bodied design solves that problem, and will protect my data for many years to come. I would recommend it to a friend.
Memory is memory. What you're looking for is the best speed and best amount of data for the best price....Wrong. What happens if your pen drive with cherished photos and important documents ends up in the washing machine? Do you really want to risk losing it all? That's exactly what happened to me after studying and saving loads of evidence and certificates. I even put one of these through the wash just to check it would survive. (They don't call it Survivor for nothing) Now I wouldn't use anything else for a pen drive, I own 3 of them. Top marks for Stealth Survivor.

After an extremely long installation process, more to do with Windows than the Stealth drive, the Stealth booted my Laptop quite happily into Windows 8 64 To Go. Under USB 2.0 it would only be useful as a last resort, it was however usable and with the correct windows 8 64 bit drivers for USB 3.0, something I'm waiting for, it will probably be very usable. The tough aluminum casing has an 'o' ring seal on its screw cap making this drive waterproof to a depth of 200m. Not having over 600 feet of water anywhere close by we'll have to take the manufacturer's word on that one. The case certainly does seem to be very robust and I can see applications for it in the 'wild'. For your ... Even if you don't work in a challenging environment I can see this drive being attractive. Apart from its speed, there may be a certain cachet associated with having one of these hanging around your neck, it is certainly not one that is going to disappear easily. If a lanyard had been included you might have been able to use it in self defense! My one major qualm is the longevity of the drive, the looseness of the USB plug will have a negative impact on this and so 4 eggs rather than 5. I may do a bit of rework on that myself with some elephant glue or epoxy putty.

I really wanted to know about the duribility of it so i threw it about 25 foot on a concrete floor numerious times and it still worked. Next i took brake clean ( same as putting it in gas ) and dropped it in a cup of it the only results at this time was just a bit of fadding on the case it didnt effect performance or the watertight seal was in it for 5 minutes even. Then back in the 5 gallon bucket of water to make sure it was still watertight. Transfered numerious 1 and 2 gig files to it and then reformatted and still the transfer rates stayed steady.
