It absolutely works as intended. Put it in the new Legion 7 Slim AMD Advantage and i upgraded my RAM from 16GB to 40GB and you feel it! You really dont get worried about not having enough memory anymore. Good buy, great investment, especially if you are looking to keep your laptop for a while.

Doesn’t work in dell XPs 15 with no prior warning. Bought at Best Buy. Geek squad attempted installation received incompatible errors. Had to purchase extra memory on line

installed in my Asus TUF Gaming A15 for snappier response in apps. Haven't had any issues so far and except for having to remove ALL the screws on the bottom of the laptop, installation was easy.

Bought this as gift for my sons 18th birthday to upgrade the memory in his new Dell pc that he got for Christmas. Specs are exactly the same as old RAM-4800 MHz DDR5 SODIMM. Was just upgrading from 16 to 32GB. Upon installation, computer would not boot. Reinstalled old memory and computer booted instantly. Compared new to old memory to each other physically and they matched. Apparently is not compatible with Dell pc. Disappointing and a waste of money.
Installed into dell xps laptop with compatible specs. Refused to work. Bought crucial ram with exact same specs and it worked flawlessly.
My laptop came with 8GB of memory, and this was a very desired update for me. I bought two, making my laptop a 32GB memory monster. Good quality, clean and well packed.My FS runs much software than with the the stock memory. Before once in a while it had a hicups I've been playing like > 30 hours in total after the update, and it's definetively better.The best of all, the preice was a deal for DDR5 memory.
This RAM is 100% compatible with my Acer Predator Helios 300. It was detected immediately by the system and no Bios configuration needed. It makes my laptop super fast. I have owned a Corsair RAM before for my old laptop and I did not see any issues with it. So, when I saw this new kind of RAM on BestBuy I had no doubt on buying it because this brand never fails me from my past experience. I highly recommend it.
This has helped some but not very noticeable yet. Going to upgrade to another 16gb stick exactly like this one I jus bought to max out the overall speed /ram n my laptop. Thanks. Plug n play, very easy to install
The RAM was not compatible with a DELL XPS 15 9520. It is unclear if the incompatibility is due to Corsair or DELL not implementing a standard fully or some other factor that is not sufficiently documented. I ended up buying Crucial sticks (with identical specifications on paper) for 15% more and losing 10% of the returned price of the Corsair as the package was open. Several days after paying 15% more the price is now below that which I paid for the Corsair RAM. The whole exercise was an expensive waste of time. In the past I have bought Corsair RAM for a DELL XPS 15 9570 and it works brilliantly. As always, Corsair doesn't disappoint. I use Corsair Vengeance RAM in multiple computers with great results. Very happy with my upgrade, and as advertised, no adjustments needed to get it running. Mostly want to provide this review to indicate that this RAM is compatible with the 2022 Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-795C, as there's no compatibility info currently out there for that machine, and I've read sporadic reports of non compatibility with certain laptops, mainly Dell's machines.
