So well built. They even feel good when you take them in your hands. As RAM these are exceptional. Well built on black PCB. For ASUS (AMD) motherboards, use D.O.C.P Profile 1 in the BIOS to apply optimised RAM settings recommended by Corsair, and running at 3200MHz. The LOOKS of these Platinum RGB sticks are MATCHLESS. I have used different modern RAM kits, like G-Skill Trident Z Neo and Gigabyte AORUS Kits.... They either look ugly with dim LED's or have poor LED control chips. I didn't buy this RAM kit for the looks, but WOW...!!! These simply just look AWESOME. Gives real trendy looks...!! DOMINATOR Platinum RGB RAM by far DOMINATES majority of the RAM kits out there...

A good kit of ram ddr4 from Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB. A all size is 64 gb with 2 modules. This type of ram has a frequency 3200 MHz, a latency is cl16, good characteristics! A modules has a efficiency cooling radiators with beautiful rgb illumination

These worked out of the box, they look gorgeous even without the LEDs on, and with the LEDs it can really get to another level in the right case. The only complaint I have at this point isn't so much pointed to corsair, but more to the memory industry. At 5 years into DDR4, I would've thought we'd have gotten to a point where 3200mhz at CL14 would be common place, but apparently not. DDR5 does appear to be around the corner, so I suppose it won't matter for too long, and otherwise, I'm still very happy with this RAM.

So many choices, so many price ranges, but ONLY ONE rules them ALL. I didn't think I was going to dig the RGB but once I used the software and was able to tone it down and have the RAIN effect setting, I'm fine with it, but most importantly? Speeds, reliability, and overclocking potential. First BIOS setting was to set this at profile 1 for XMP (using an ASUS Z390) and every time worked flawlessly in the first attempt. 2nd: reliability, and overclocking, YES, I bought TWO kits for a total of 32GB, because I wanted to occupy all 4 slots and all 4 modules have achieved easily a 3400MHz speed with the same voltage and timings, and the temps are pretty much the same as the 3200MHz stock. There are other brands but from my personal experience, I always stick with Corsair ... MoreSo many choices, so many price ranges, but ONLY ONE rules them ALL. There are other brands but from my personal experience, I always stick with Corsair modules, I went the "cheap" way once and the 3000MHz modules cannot run at that speed, very disappointing but I will no longer buy "that" brand of memory. Corsair works pretty much with EVERYTHING and is in a class higher than the rest.
Best looking RGB RAM modules on market. 12 leds on each module, and they are very bright. I have Corsair vengeance pro SL on my other PC and they are not even close in terms of brightness and color saturation.Control is over iCUE Corsair software which is the best one in my opinion. A lot of features, modes and effects. As of RAM performance, its all OK, no compatibility issues at all.You are paying for eye candy and its worth every euro.
Here I am again reviewing yet another piece of kit from Corsair. I won't lie; I'm a big fan of anything Corsair and their customer service is top notch on those very few times I needed help over the years. I run Corsair ram in all of my computers and swapped out my Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB DDR4 3466 to try this kit out. Let me be fair...I prefer my DDR4 3466 ram but this Dominator Platinum kit can be tweaked for better timings and handles them well. Better than my 3466 sticks. Also this ram works so darn well with XMP. Over the years I stopped trying to use XMP because it usually just caused problems but not with this Dominator ram! These sticks love XMP and really come alive when in XMP mode. I had zero issues with booting up these tweaked with XMP and my CPU at 4.9GHz. Everything is stable and fast!! The RGB lighting is awesome and the LED lights built directly on the PCB is something special. These lights are BRIGHT and just looks so very cool. I'm not even a big RGB lighting guy but even I can't fault Corsair. Working along with iCue software which by the way is really easy to use and set up. The heat shields are tall but shouldn't be an issue for most. I use a corsair water kit and had no issues with installation at all. Performance wise these things rock. They outperform other sticks by Corsair that I use and I won't go into all the benching I did but I will say these sticks run fast and overclock easily. A little tweaking or using XMP is all that's needed to have a nice performance boost. If you are building a cutting edge gaming rig then these should be considered. Between great speeds, fantastic build quality, and the best RGB lighting on the market...you just can't go wrong. Man these sticks are sexy...if you like that sort of thing and I for one do!
Awesome ram, its a show stopper. Just make sure you purchase a 4 stick kit if that is your goal. Corsair ram is made by a variety of manufactures. (Hynix, Samsung, Micron) If youare adding 2 stick to an additional setup it may not be compatiable.
While more expensive, they honestly feel high quality and look amazing. The lighting effects on the Corsair software means you can have some really cool RGB effects. They are on the tall side however they stay cool quite effectively well.
I've paired this with another 16GB of other brand RAM and they've all played together nicely. Can't complain. My motherboard info said it's acceptable and so far that appears to be true.
This purchase was my second set of Dominator Platinum. Didnt really need them but I wanted to fill out the other two DIMM slots for more of that RGB goodness. The new ones are for both AMD and Intel boards. This model is for AMD only and as I already had this model I purchased the same ones again as I was worried about mixing two types of RAM.
