This is the best ram that you can put in a MSI PRO Z690-A. I wrote this review to save anyone the time who is trying to upgrade their ram. I contacted Corsair (the company that built my pc) and asked them what’s the best I can upgrade to. This is what was recommended for the best performance upgrade to my pc ran wise. Easy install for me, plug and play. On some reviews, I seen issues with their start up. I honestly owned same type of ram just 16g sticks so drivers were identical. I try to run the xmp profile a billion times and wont activate … still at 4000 megahertz… im probably missing something… i put both sticks at 64gb.. the ram its good looking . One of the best in the market.. other than that no complaints…

They work great. I had no problems whatsoever. XPM with a updated Bios on the motherboard and set 3 or 4 more settings 5hat you can find for your board online. (YouTube) or other sights that will show you the settings you need besides just turning on the XMP. I also noticed that some boards brand new out of the box will allow XMP to be enabled and it will post after to windows. After you update the Bios to the newest Bios. You will likely have to enable the other settings to set the motherboard to recognize the RAM you have and the min and max of that ram. Just a thought if you have problems after updates on the motherboard. Make sure you creat a stable profile so you can reinable your profile and not have to go through all the settings all over again. For gaming or Video Post Production this Ram is plenty fast. I have 128gb of this on a Asus ProArt z690 and it works and looks great. Install iCue change the hardware lighting then uninstall iCue. Make sure SPD Write is turned on in Bios!
I purchased two of these kits to put 128 Gb of ram in my computer for virtualization. Worked with AMD Ryzen 7950x CPU without a problem. The RGB looks great, but doesn’t work with ASRock Polychrome RGB software.
I was a little concerned that I wouldn't like the RGB through the little squares, but it looks amazing! Honestly this RAM is overkill for anything. Even the most demanding games barely use any of the capacity.
Outstanding brand and very reliable. I was thinking about populating all the slots up to 128 megs of RAM but then I read the reviews about the performance dip after doing this so I decided to settle with a 2 X 32 Package Gig of Ram. I am currently running my CPU at 5200 Mhz. , that is full capacity, with no glitches or overheating.
I purchased this RAM for an RTX 4090 OC build and I couldn't be happier. The timing is pretty good and it snapped right into my Z790 Hero Maximus board without issue. You can overclock it right out of the box using the XMP and the board, but honestly, it doesn't even need it if you aren't savvy with the process. Is it expensive? Sure, but similar setups in DDR4 cost pretty close to the same, so why not upgrade to the future?P.S. yes, I flipped my case so it was a left-hand build and everything is upside down haha.
These rams are amazing! Had to buy them when I upgraded my motherboard and they look dope! They add the perfect touch, and the price at Microcenter is unbeatable!
This DDR5 ram works great on my Asus z690-E Strix motherboard with i9-12900K cpu. Running on XMP-1 profile at 5600mhz. No issues after several weeks of usage, MemTest and Intel Burn Test (Very High profile).
