What Corsair has created with the SF750 is a niche product that is both beautifully crafted and way too expensive. It’s specifically designed for high power small form factor builds. It’s capable of running SLI video cards but few mini ATX motherboards have that capability. It’s a little gem of a power supply but the short cable set limits it use in full sized ATX chassis. I love it and I’m going to build a small Form factor system worthy of its capabilities. But I do recognize that not everybody needs a unit like this. Still, it is a quality piece of technology. Power supplies rarely get any glory in an enthusiast system. You don’t even see most of the time any longer. But I’ll know the SF750 is there and it will give me a warm feeling inside.

After putting in a lot of effort to build an extremely compact SFF ATX build in a Cerberus X with two 240mm radiators and a 120mm radiator, I kept running into BSODs and random shutdowns while gaming. After troubleshooting CPU, Memory and my GPU I finally decided to plug in a separate ATX PSU just to power the PCI-E power cables going to my 3090 FE and had no problems. Turns out I was triggering OCP half the time and the other half was almost triggering OCP and causing a BSOD that couldn't complete the memory dump. Tried another SF750 I wasn't using and also had the same problems. Tried an RMA replacement and also had the same problem. I don't really blame Corsair for this as the RTX 3000 series is built on Samsung 10nm which can't hit very high clock speeds, so ... Silent and super compact, I don’t think the fans spin at all vast majority of the time. Cables are high quality but not too bendy either. I managed to fit it in a terra without too much hassle but it’d make the experience perfect if the cables were easier to manage.
I like the cables since they are flexible, which fits the mini builds very well. It had worked without any problem until it was broken a week ago. I switched the graphic card from RTX3080 to RTX2080 for my wife since she needs to work in a new location. The downgraded custom PC was for her new location during weekdays so she doesn't need to move her current gaming PC around. Right after the completion, everything was working perfectly. It broke when my wife tried to power on the PC at her new location. Additionally, the location was the same one when I used my previous build with CoolerMaster PSU, it never had any issues for a whole year. Thus, I believe there was nothing wrong with the voltage or anything alike. Unfortunately, I don't have coverage purchased for ... I was just forced to buy an SFX power supply because I switched to a Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mini. I didn't know before I bought the case that it only accepted SFX form factor PSUs, I found out after I already had most of my system installed in the case. My build is an ATX Z390, i7-9700k oc'd @ 4.9 GHz, RTX-2080, and a whole lot of Corsair RGB, including an H115i cooler. So far this power supply is handling the load admirably and is basically silent, just like my old Corsair RM850 that I was using for this build. I was hesitant to downgrade my PSU wattage so much but I knew 600W was enough. The individually sleeved cables are a nice addition too. I just hope this power supply lasts.

This thing gets relatively hot, maybe like 50-70 C? I put my hand over the case where this was and it felt pretty hot. That being said, this is really your only option for a SFF psu right now, and they are extremely premium. It's modular, and the cables that come with it feel amazing and are a really good length. Within a month the pcie 8 pin cable melted. My whole PC would restart when the GPU would be under load. It was quite hard to trouble shoot.I was very lucky my case does not have a PSU shroud so all the cables are exposed. When I took the panel off, I noticed the 8 Pin cable was melted, the sleeving was coming off.I sometimes stress test my PC and leave the house. This could have actually caused a fire. What's even more strange is that when the PC crashed it did not actually shut itself down making me question if the PSU protections actually work.Looking at the availability of this model right now it makes me wonder whether Corsair have actually ceased production for a bit to sort things out.
The item was a little dirtier than expected. Possibly owned by a previous smoker as there was dark yellow dust on the inside. Besides that item functioned and worked like it should. Was missing a few of the OEM cables but the cables provided worked as they should
Twice while building a PC with this supply recently, I started saying something like. ""Man, I wish they included a..."" and I'd look and they did. First it was hoping they included an adapter for ATX. They did. Then it was ""Man, it would be great if they included an extra molex cable."" and I just hadn't dug that far into the bag. There it was. Anticipating the needs of your customers is pretty impressive. I wouldn't expect to get either of these parts just thrown in. Not in the era of two connector VGA. Not when that's a potential extra 5 bucks a piece if they sell them separate. Good show Corsair. I've been a fan for years. It's stuff like this.
