What else can be said? This is a wonderful keyboard when it works. However, I encountered a repeating issue where the keyboard randomly stopped working. This would result in the keyboard freezing without warning. The only way to fix the issue required me to unplug the keyboard and reset it.After further investigation, it seems to be a deeper issue with the K100 that other people have dealt with it. It seems to be a firmware issue that would cause the keyboard to have the same issue I was having. Corsair has yet to address this issue for its premium high-end keyboard.I highly advise not purchasing this keyboard until the issue is addressed.I really hope Corsair does fix this issue as the keyboard is excellent in every other aspect, a true flagship product.

I am very picky about my keyboards. I have MS and sometimes have decreased feeling in my fingers. So I need to have a really nice "clicky" keyboard. The clickity clack of the keys and the feel of the keys pushing downward is a huge help for me to know that I am actually hitting the keys. This has all the bells and whistles and then some! The different settings for the backlighting are all awesome. The magnetic wrist rest is awesome. Music controls are great. It's really taking me a while to adjust to the 6 G keys on the left side. I need to take the time to just set them to the button I think I am pushing when I hit them. LOL! My husband got this for me for Christmas after my previous keyboard died. He did good. ^_^ Clickity Clack

I am very happy with my purchase. This is a very responsive keyboard. I am coming from a Logitech G510s that I loved but lighting was going bad and keys sticking. I have used Logitech forever but their new keyboards are just lacking in a lot of ways. This Corsair k100 optic is great for gaming and the lighting is out of this world. I like the monitor screen mosaic since it adds to the ambiance of the game or video that I am watching. The one plus that I will give Logitech is their Linier keys are very quiet compared to this keyboard. I think I will just need to get used to it after so many years using the other. Typing is a little different and will also take a while to get used to but this is a minor issue. I can always use my wireless for long typing sessions. The ... MoreI am very happy with my purchase. I am using the plastic cover from the packaging as a dust cover when not in use and it works great since the wrist rest is magnetic and movable. I cannot say it enough, this is the best dang gaming keyboard made to date.

Decent keyboard, with issues.Pros:- Outstanding overall performance.- Low latency.- Great PBT keycaps.- Decent wrist rest included.- RGB is good.Meh:- This keyboard is HUGE! Especially considering the presence of the macro keys. I highly recommend against buying this keyboard if you intend to use it to play shooters. It's way too big, and will eat into your available mouse space (my mouse kept bumping into the side of the keyboard on swipes). I ended up switching to a 60% board after this for when I play shooters.- It was taking me a long time to get used to not having CTRL as the bottom left key on the keyboard. It takes time to learn how to position your hand relative to the macro keys.Cons:- The "wheel" and associated button on the keyboard feels ... MoreDecent keyboard, with issues.Pros:- Outstanding overall performance.- Low latency.- Great PBT keycaps.- Decent wrist rest included.- RGB is good.Meh:- This keyboard is HUGE! It takes time to learn how to position your hand relative to the macro keys.Cons:- The "wheel" and associated button on the keyboard feels pretty useless, wobbly, cheap, and excessive.- The OPX Linear Switches are WAY too easy to activate under all circumstances. And this is coming from someone who regularly uses/used Cherry MX Silver and Red switches. Expect tons of accidental key presses both when typing and when gaming. The keys are so light and the actuation distance is so small that you risk triggering a key press just from placing a finger on the key caps.- Quality of the macro keycaps is not as good as the rest of the keys on the keyboard.Conslusion:For the price of this board, I would not buy it again. While the overall quality was great, the extra features included are just not worth the price, and the keycaps are way too easy to activate such that this keyboard was worse for both gaming and typing than other keyboards that I've owned that cost a lot less. For macros, I would buy a separate, movable macro pad.
Really loving the keyboard but there are a few minor issues that make it where I can't rate a solid 5 stars. Mainly software issues with iCue.I use the keyboard for gaming and WFM. I set up the G Keys for various shortcuts and they're great, but almost every time I start my computer I have to manually force quit & restart iCue to get the GKeys to work at all. There was also a strange, one time (for now and hopefully forever) glitch where I was trying to set up a the Windows emoji keyboard shortcut (Windows + .) as a key assignment for the 0 key on my number pad because I never use the number pad, and for some reason all this did was force my keyboard to do ........... repeatedly on every window, no matter what I did, even after deleting the key assignment. I couldn't even get the Windows menu to come up to shut down the computer because it started automatically typing .................. in the search box, lol. It was fixed with a manual restart of the computer, but yeah.My only other "meh" aspect is that I thought I'd be getting a lot of use out of the Control Wheel, which is why I sprung for this keyboard over some of the cheaper Corsair models, but I've barely touched it at all. I use the G Keys far more often. I'm hopeful that once I have time to research how to create custom modes I'll use it more. I tried to make a mode for toggling through images in Photos to no avail, but I also didn't spend much time trying to figure it out, so YMMV.
I took a chance on this item because my Corsair 150i Pro AIO water cooling setup has been flawless for over 3 years. The keyboard is solid, has nice weight to it, & on the keys everything is illuminated. My Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 didnt light the whole key, just the main character, also the wrist rest started pealing. I've used it for about 4 years, still working well, seemed like Razers software isnt quite as good as it use to be, had crashes, or lockups, would also crash games. Since the Corsair iCue has worked very well, just decided it was time to try out their other products and combine everything into one interface. So far its been great, no crashes, lockups, been very smooth and fast. Also on the lighting can setup lighting to be saved to the keyboard ... MoreI took a chance on this item because my Corsair 150i Pro AIO water cooling setup has been flawless for over 3 years. The color setup has a small learning curve, however got everything setup and has been working well. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Very comfortable to type on, hope wrist rest lasts longer then Razer's.
Bought this keyboard about 10 months ago, it's been fine. The RGB is nice but there's a few keys where the lightings isn't synced with the rest of the keyboard. For instance the 'J' key is delayed by a few seconds or so.Furthermore the close square/curly brackets switch just straight up died, and replacement switches aren't available for purchase. For a key that I don't use all too often, it's peculiar that it died, instead of one of the other more used keys. With it dead coding is also a big pain as I can't close off statements. The switches are nice, they're very hair trigger but great for typing fast and gaming.6 programmable macros are always handy to have whenever you need them, and the software is easy enough to understand to get them to do what you ... MoreBought this keyboard about 10 months ago, it's been fine. I loved this keyboard for the first week I had it. It’s keystrokes are amazingly responsive and smooth and the build quality is superb. But it’s what’s inside that is the issue. This keyboards hardware is disgustingly unreliable and the “ICUE” software is even worse. While gaming, the keyboard would freeze and infinitely output the last input until I unplugged and plugged it in again.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, updating the firmware, and very thing. I even got a replacement keyboard, hoping that it was just an issue with mine. But the exact same issues arose. Needless to say, I won’t touch another Corsair product again, as I’ve had multiple brand new Corsair headphones fail on me in the past. I am between a 3 and a 4 on this rating, because I wasn’t able to use the full functionality of the keyboard due to Corsair’s poor iCue integration and even worse customer service. The keyboard itself feels very solid and has some heft the frame, which I prefer. Has a good deal of additional buttons, including multimedia and volume adjustment. The iCue scrollwheel is the only piece of hardware that seems a bit flimsy. To appreciate the full functionality of this keyboard, you must install the iCue software. This would allow you to assign macros, adjust rob, create profiles, etc. Unfortunately I should have did my research on this software prior to my purchase, and saw the multitude of issues (both comparability and functionality) with iCue.Long story short, ... MoreI am between a 3 and a 4 on this rating, because I wasn’t able to use the full functionality of the keyboard due to Corsair’s poor iCue integration and even worse customer service. The keyboard itself feels very solid and has some heft the frame, which I prefer. When customer service finally responds to my help ticket (3 day wait time between each of their responses) they are of no help at all.Ended up returning the board since it shouldn’t be worth the headache. Was hoping to be able to utilize the multimedia buttons and macros, but I’ll be going back to my Ducky which doesn’t have all of these bells and whistles but has never given me any issues.
Really nice keyboard - undeniably the best keyboard I personally have ever used, aesthetically and functionally. I work on my computer all day and when I am not working I enjoy gaming and trading, so my hardware is under consistent daily use. That being said this keyboard feels extremely solid and well built. The wrist guard feels good, the keys feel good and overall the quality level is really high. The well thought out look and feel would be immediately noticed by anybody. In terms of work, it handles and feels great and I appreciate that it seems be to be quieter than other mechanical keyboards I have owned. As far as gaming, it feels good and has a fantastic response, I also enjoy the included textured keys for "WASD". I have been building my own PC's for years and this current build has many Corsair parts (RAM, Cooler, Case, Mouse) so I appreciate that all of various features and lighting effects can be managed under one software, being iCue, which makes for easy use and adjustment of the multiple features. So far in my experience there are no downsides to this keyboard with exception to the price. For a brand new build, $200 to allocate to the keyboard does not make much sense when I would think someone would prioritize funds towards CPU, MOBO, GPU, SSD or RAM - So overall, this is phenomenal keyboard and I am satisfied with what I paid with respect to its value and performance and also compared to what I know is available for under $100- I also believe it is for the customer looking for high end accessories to compliment an already complete high end build.(Ryzen 9 5900x, Asus ROG Strix X-570-e Wifi II, Corsair H150i Elite, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600, RX 6900XT)
