It's a power supply. What can I say. It functions as intended and the price was reasonable. Corsair makes good products all around. I wound up buying this because I was rebuilding a pre built pc with upgraded case for better cooling. However, the PSU out of the old pc was lacking a cable I needed (the extra cables weren't included with the pc I bought). So I wound up buying this as a replacement. And I was looking for an excuse to buy white anyway, since the pc I was building was going to be white. LOL!!! Seriously, great product as always. Can't go wrong with anything made by Corsair!!!

Do not confuse (CP-9020195-NA) with earlier versions of the RM series.

This is an easy, no frills PSU with very nice looking white cables. Corsair makes great, semi-budget friendly power supplies, and this is a perfect example. On sale, it is an absolute steal. You get all the cables you’ll need (unless running a 3090 or something absurd) and it is almost dead silent. Easy to install, always great customer support from Corsair, and a beautiful white theme that will look good in any build. I’d highly recommend any of the Corsair RM series PSUs.

Good Goldilocks power supply
23 June 2019

The RM750 power supply from Corsair is a great “Goldilocks” level power supply. It’s not too small & cheap and not too fancy and expensive. Being fully modular (that means you choose all the cables you want to use) it offers a lot of customizability and no nasty mess of unused cables in your case. In the box is the power supply, 10 various cables, zip ties, and screws. The build is very solid with a thick gauge aluminum which is definitely a step up from more budget minded models. The included cables are nothing to write home about, they’re all black ribbon style cables and only the ATX cable has a sleeve. The size of the power supply is reasonable at 160mm length. If you need a smaller one you can fork out some extra cash for Corsair’s SF750 which is an 80+ ... MoreThe RM750 power supply from Corsair is a great “Goldilocks” level power supply. If you need a smaller one you can fork out some extra cash for Corsair’s SF750 which is an 80+ Platinum and is only 100mm and nearly half the weight. Speaking of Certification this RM750 is 80+ Gold certified, which, compared to Silver (one step down) or Platinum (one step up) doesn’t make a whole lot of difference, assuming you’re not buying a hundred of these for a server farm. The fan on this model has the great ability to be turned completely off at low power usage levels, making this a great choice to build a quieter PC at idle. This RM750 provides 750 watts of power for your hungry PC, but If you’re not hung up on exactly 750 watts you may save $10 or so and go with the 650 (though note it has two less connectors). Also if black isn’t your thing, Corsair has a white version for about $20 more (though it also has two less connectors). Another minor note is I liked seeing the model number stamped on the back of the power supply, that way you can see it without opening the case. It’s amazing to me more manufacturers don’t do this. Last note is that the ten year parts & labor warranty means you can expect Corsair to have your back on this purchase. Overall this is a great power supply in that Goldilocks zone. A solid 5 eggs.

Great Looking PSU!
17 January 2023

I upgraded my GPU from a RTX2060 to a RTX3070 and needed to upgrade my PSU to be up to spec with the correct power needed for the 3070. My PC was a pre-built I bought in 2019 and have been slowly upgrading components as I go so I have never swapped a modular PSU until now. This PSU has functioned perfectly and gave me no issues during install or post install!Pros:- Sleek Look- Easy Install- PLENTY of Cables *Make sure you are using the correct cables for the newer GPUs...*Cons:- Nothing at this time.

Great PSU with just want you need
10 July 2019

The packaging is great and I like the modular connections, it gives me the freedom to use the wires that I only need, I think I pretty much only go to fully modular ones, can’t remember the last time I used none modular, I think most these days are at least partially modular? The efficiency is great, it is nice to see higher efficiency PSU’s show up and also drop in price over the years. I think when picking a PSU these days, we all expect 80 PLUS and I would say by that close to 90, and higher, the major issues is the curves at what range the efficiency is at, that’s when more expensive ones will give you better results, and also the more wattage the more expensive. I think its best to be realistic and purchase PSU based on needs, and if you know your going to be ... MoreThe packaging is great and I like the modular connections, it gives me the freedom to use the wires that I only need, I think I pretty much only go to fully modular ones, can’t remember the last time I used none modular, I think most these days are at least partially modular? I think its best to be realistic and purchase PSU based on needs, and if you know your going to be upgrading then possibly leave some headroom. The interesting thing is that RM series says they use 100% high Celsius rating caps, but the X series states higher quality by naming Japanese caps. The warranty is a bit confusing, looking at the website specs vs brochure designation under “CORSAIR Limited Warranty” it is either 5 per brochure or 10 years website? In conclusion it will be up to you and your wallet if you need more bells in whistles in a PSU or if you really need the highest efficiency PSU. I think this PSU model delivers on what is most needed, now if you want even higher quality, I guess your wallet is the limiting factor.

It's a great PSU but I'd just pay the extra few bucks for the RM750x
3 February 2022

For the money, you could probably just go ahead and jump up to the 750x for literally 5 extra dollars and get a better power supply (depending on what kind of sales youre seeing). That being said, its still a great power supply and I think itll do just fine. This particular unit performed the same in a power consumption test as the RM650x from the prior generation that I had lying around to compare it to. What that tells me is that Corsair to some extent is continuing to improve these designs. While this until isnt sporting the 80Plus Platinum certification, its also not going to break the bank in terms of cost. I think you either love or hate the flat cables and I personally love them. There were, however, a few troubles with my cables in that the 6+2 connectors required some twisting of the wires to get the proper orientation. This is really annoying with flat cables because well, now theyre twisted and you can see it. Honestly, whether it makes more noise than the 650x at peak load I couldnt really tell you. My GPU fan makes more noise than it, so its really hard to capture a sound reading. That being said, it definitely stays quiet under all conditions save when the fan actually comes on during gaming. I didnt really even notice any extra sound, just that it was blowing air. All in all, Id say this is a great unit, but if the price is close, just spring for the RM750x.

Pretty good
14 September 2021

The power supply is great and working fine for now. My only gripe with this product is that the cables included didnt install a lot of confidence in me with how to install them. This was my 2nd (first solo) build and some of the power cables for the cpu didnt line up with what i expected to see on the mobo eg. U shaped cable bits where there was square shaped ones on the mobo input. I had to look up to see if it was fine and had mixed results of people saying it was fine, others that it wasnt. Being a beginner builder it was an unnecessary stress that may have been avoided. if this is intentional and a new standard, thats fine. Its worth mentioning though.

I assume a capacitor or component inside of the power supply was causing an issue with the machine. The machine did not experience anything disastrous but did not make troubleshooting the issue simple to fix.Basically, I use my guitar with a program on my computer to record. With the defective power supply in the machine, it created a hum noise. This made using the program frustrating. However, inserting the Corsair RM750 into the machine eliminated the hum and allowed the software and guitar to work properly. Unfortunately, it took me a full 7 years to replace the defective power supply and get rid of the hum. These simple design elements make my purchase easy to recommend this product to others. Unfortunately, I don't live closer to a Micro Center as this product was one of the best components I have purchased in the last 45 years of dealing with computer components. If I did live closer I'd be spending a lot more time drooling over the excellent products they have available.

Reliable, fully featured, and relatively efficient
30 January 2022

Overall, this is a great mid-level upgrade for a prebuilt or OEM, and a decent choice for intermediate builds. If I were putting together a mid-sized system with a modest budget, I'd probably go for something like this PSU. This sort of system might be just fine at 500W, give or take, especially with the GPU shortage meaning most modest builds have puny older cards. But 750W is a nice ceiling in case you want to make a few small upgrades or changes in the system. Always leave room to upgrade. In the meantime, you'll have overhead you don't need, not a problem, and you'll also have the reliability and functionality of this PSU.
