I needed 64GB RAM for loading large sample sets in virtual pipe organ software. There are so many different variants of DDR5 with varying speeds and latency to choose from. This was the best rated RAM on my motherboard QVL for 64GB so I decided to splash out on it. I decided to go for the RGB version because I knew I'd only regret it if I didn't. I don't find the iCue software very intuitive and it's constantly ticking away in the background, but fortunately you can write your RGB settings to the hardware and just disable it once you're happy so your colours are there the moment you push to power button. After installing everything I enabled the preloaded XMP profile in the BIOS to get to the rated 6600MT/s. I have run memtest86 and all is good, no errors. When I build a PC, I always gravitate towards Corsair components for a reason.I have owned DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5 memory from a large amount of manufacturers but I have always been a huge fan of the Corsair Vengeance Line.Corsair does memory right and this DDR5 set is no different. The timings are pretty great, the RGB is awesome with ICUE, and they have a great profile while installed.Memory is a dime a dozen nowadays but these are great and work well for Intel XMP profiles. This Kit is not AMD EXPO though but you are still able to use XMP in most cases. If you are looking for a ram that is high performing with great durability and longevity, you can't really go wrong with these.

A great RAM kit. You can’t go wrong with Corsair.Pros:Phenomenal Intel XMP compatibilitySolid, stable performanceLooks great in almost any setupCons:This particular kit does not play well with AMD Expo (definitely design with Intel in mind)The RGB lighting gets a bit muddy with complicated color combos. Can fit under most fan coolers, but wouldn’t recommend a AIO (liquid cooler). This goes for most RGB ram kits. Not the most expensive set of RAM, but there are cheaper options that are equal or better in performance.Overall, a good product. The color con is mostly personal, but I would still take that into consideration when building. Also not recommended for overclocking on an AMD motherboard.

Corsair is always my go-to for RAM, always been reliable and performative however this ones only getting 3 stars because of the issues I had, although may well not be corsairs faulty. With my new build as soon as I would enable XMP (even at 4800mt/s) windows would crash, without XMP solid as a rock. This model was on the QVL list for my mobo so was tearing my hair out. Thankfully Scan is pretty local to me so went down there and after much troubleshooting tried the 6200mt/s version and its just worked ever since with XMP enabled with literally zero issues, and this new ram isnt even on the QVL!? So whilst everything got sorted and this could easily have been an issue with the mobo or CPU, it wasnt a great experience but got there in the end, and still with Corsair!
Bought 3 sets of these over the past year, first two sets worked fine and are at this time still working. Unfortunately the third set were completely defective, popped them in two different systems with the same results, swapped the known good ones into the other slots and put these in their place too and still constant crashes. Removed the known good ones and only put these in, still constant crashes on a loop. Really unfortunate. This is the second Corsair product in the last couple of months that has been garbage out of the box. I'm severely disappointed in their recent QC and will not be purchasing anymore Corsair products in the future.
Recently bought a new PC from Best Buy, specifically the"MSI - Aegis Z2 Gaming Desktop - AMD R7-7700 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super - 1TB SSD - Black"However, I wasn't fond of the 16GB RAM, so I instead upgraded to 64GB. It really brings the MSI Aegis to its FULL potential. I've easily run 6-7 applications at once, and I only end up eating around 10.5GB/64GB. And that's basically what I need in terms of software parallel processing loadouts.Having the extra RAM available is worth it imo because it gives me room to multi-task without fear of slowing down my computer. Only gripe (minor) that I have is the price point, but this is the top speed RAM offered by Best Buy.
Wait a min, you almost forgot about ram! Says the people that just read stellar reviews of 14900k, ROG Z790-E, H150i. But you would be wrong. I didn’t forget about Ram. Was I kind of budget restricted by the time i got here…Yes so did i only purchase 32gb…you bet. Will i be purchasing again once the eBay auction of my kidneys closes because the aforementioned ROG Z790-E can support up to 128GB of ram….oh you know i will. So what’s cool about this? RGB that’s what, remember that AIO iCUE H150i that you read about, well same company babyyyyyyyyyy and this ram’s RGB links right on up, so you too can have eye blinding rainbow effects sweep your room at 2 a.m. who cares you have a structure engineering inspections at 6am you pc looks cool.
I recently upgraded my desktop with the CORSAIR VENGEANCE 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 C36 memory, and the performance boost has been nothing short of phenomenal. The first thing that caught my attention was the sleek and stylish design. The black color seamlessly blends with the aesthetics of my rig, adding a touch of sophistication. The build quality is excellent, as expected from CORSAIR, ensuring durability and longevity. The 6000MHz speed is an absolute game-changer for my system
The product itself it’s good, the reason for the 3 stars is not because of performance. I build gaming computers so RGB is a big deal, but these stick’s RGB can only be controlled through Corsair’s proprietary iCue software. That means the lighting will overwrite ASUS, MSI or any other motherboard light control software. This forces you to run the iCue software every time you turn your computer on to synchronize the RAM’s lighting to everything else. If you’re planning on using all corsair components this is not a problem. They’re also pricey compared to something from Team Group or G Skills.
this ram was SUPER affordable during black friday, and it’s great!using this with my 7600X, it works fine. (thankfully my mobo supports intel XMP. make sure check to if your mobo supports XMP when buying yours). if not there’s always a version of this one with amd EXPOiCUE is wonderful, allows for more personalization with the ram LEDs. they are REALLY bright, so if you want bright ram, this is pretty good. (you can turn them down through iCUE).
