Basically as per the title, an excellent set of RAM for the money. Whilst not RGB, when you look at it up close it is quite tidy looking, and so doesn't look out of place when installed - it still retains its class. Performance wise it runs exactly as you'd expect - I went with this as it was significantly cheaper for similar performance (you can actually calculate total latency - Crucial has a thing on it, though from memory it's (2000/Clock Speed) X CAS Latency, with the answer in Nanoseconds (ns)), and compared with the more expensive/faster kits, the XMP Voltage is only 1.25v versus 1.35v/1.40v, and I'm not exactly sure of the longer term consequences of that high a voltage - at the very least I know CPU's don't tend to do well with that long term, so I'm ... MoreBasically as per the title, an excellent set of RAM for the money. I built a new PC from scratch during September. I went with this RAM as Corsair is a good brand - though the first time I have ever used them for memory (but they just brand their name onto others).Built the PC, BIOS completely unstable, could not even install windows. failed in the 1st few seconds. Reseated etc etc, tried different slots, no go. Booted Memtest86 on a usb stick, hundreds of memory failures in seconds.Took the kit back to pbtech who gave me the same memory, took it home, was suspicious now so tested it under memtest86, failures but way less..... but any failure means a dead system.Took the entire PC back to pbtech as didnt want to randomly get a 3rd kit of RAM that was bad and then I look like I have been doing something wrong. They found the RAM ... MoreI built a new PC from scratch during September. Running two kits of these on an MSI wifi z690 edge board with a 13700k.Pros: Sleek look, not demanding much attention and will get the job done. (low profile for those doing an ITX build) Worked out of the box at 4,000Mhz. See cons for explanation.Cons: Note that this could entirely be my motherboard manufacturer than the Dimms themselves. When placed into xmp mode, I've encountered a multitude of BSODS and other strange behavior even on the latest BIOS available for the board. I eventually discovered it was a voltage issue, raised the available voltage to 1.3 volts and the 5600Mhz speed stabilized.Overall: I would recommend this kit to anyone interested in getting into the DDR5 Platform. It's sleek, simple, does what it needs to do, understand that with any new product, especially computer components, there are growing pains, DDR5 still has its quirks compared to its DDR4 Older brother. If you wish to enable XMP, you may find yourself needing to experiment to obtain advertised speeds in a stable fashion. 4 Stars for the price and design. Minus 1 for the lack of advertised speed out of the box, though, again, could just be my motherboard manufacturer. Hope this helps anybody who is looking at these.

Took some tweaking to work with my Dell Desktop. After reaching out to Dell support, they told me this would not work with my XPS 8940 even though it's the same RAM in the machine. Typical Dell just trying to get you to overpay for their products. Corsair support recommended taking the Dell RAM out and just using the Corsair RAM. I found a review on Amazon that mentioned a similar situation with a potential solution. First remove the Dell RAM, place the Corsair RAM in the same slots as the Dell RAM, boot the machine, turn it off. Now add the Dell RAM back into the remaining two slots, the machine will turn on but you will have a black screen then it will turn back off by itself. After updating bios these were great sticks with XMP going at 3200MHz. Before updating, XMP crashed my system and I had to do a CMOS battery reset to bring it back to life. If you don't change bios XMP settings you'll be stuck somewhere in the 2100MHz range. Definitely not ideal. Great product though, and no memory errors when I did a Ram test. Works great for my budget i3 upgrade build. Plays games at ultra no problem, programs launch fast, but that also can be contributed to my other hardware installed. Great RAM none the less! Will buy more when I need 32GB upgrade. Also I keep my desktop on the floor so RGB was not neccessary. 3600MHz is not necessary for gaming by the way, and will only increase FPS by a couple frames, if that. Save some money if you're gaming! ... MoreAfter updating bios these were great sticks with XMP going at 3200MHz.
