Purchased to max out my X99 Platform which is running a Xeon E5-2696 v4 44core CPU. This CPU mem controller only supports 2400mhz, but the 3200mhz is the XMP rated speed. So luckily this ram boots up at its stock speed of 2133mhz and I was able to increase to 2400mhz.I went 3200mhz as that means this tested headroom will now translate in being able to run much tighter timings. If you cant overclock the mhz on a platform due to the cpu, you can still improve the mem timings.

Nothing very special about the RAM. You install it and it works at the intended speed if properly configured. I like this particular one, though, because it is quite low profile and it fits well in my air cooled Threadripper.

If running this kit in quad rank, get a higher binning. The die used here (rev 4.42) is a Samsung M, get the B if you can.
