Overall high quality product, The aluminium heat spreader feels very luxurious in hands.RGB works great and as expected, vibrant colours and fits in well especially when paired with other corsair products. For some people the corsair RGB software might be confusing to use but can usually be set and forget.Overall good performance and good looks. Nothing to complain about. Highly recomend for any build.

I usually like to wait a while before writing a review so that I can get a few for the product that I am reviewing.Installation was a breeze with no issues or any appearance of manufacturer defects. The LED functionality does not appear to have any compatibility with anything other than Phillips Hue or iCUE from Corsair. So you either have to replace or upgrade other components to Corsair or use them separately. With that being said though, the led colors match exactly to my pre-installed led fans which was super nice. Pricing may have been a little high for the product, but when you’re in the middle of a pandemic prices seem high everywhere.Overall this was a great purchase and I plan on making this purchase again at a later date to add to my PC.Recommended.

Just the most epic ram sticks. If you buy Rgb computer accessories/parts with my experience you want to buy One single brand. Because I have 3 parts all different brands of addressable rgb items and all the the softwares like to mess with each other. I have the Razer chroma, Icue (Corsair) and NZXT. And I like to use the icue software the most because I have these epic ram sticks and a lot of Corsair rgb fans but most times icue doesn’t like to listen to me and it does it’s own thing. Like make the fans and ram sticks to a color mode I don’t want but 25% of time be the colors I want and it won’t let me change them almost ever. But over epic still cause all the rgbs still cool

There are two aspects to consider with this memory: performance as memory and RGB capabilities. In regard to performance as memory, that is where I had to dock this product a star. When I tried to use this memory in a computer, it worked fine at stock speeds, but the computer started acting worse and worse once I enabled XMP (Windows threw BSODs on boot up) and eventually the whole system refused to boot. This isn't terribly surprising as I've found that Corsair has a bit of a quality assurance (QA) problem with products in various areas. I've received cases with bent tabs, rusted metal, etc., and this isn't the first time I purchased a Corsair memory kit that wouldn't work at the advertised speeds. In regard to RGB, I've found that Corsair's RGB setup is cohesive ... MoreThere are two aspects to consider with this memory: performance as memory and RGB capabilities. In regard to performance as memory, that is where I had to dock this product a star. They also provide the ability to setup the memory for what it will do when the iCUE software is not running, which isn't a feature offered by all RGB-capable memory. All in all, this isn't a bad option if you want to add a little bit of RBG flair to your computer, but just be aware that it is possible that failing to meet the advertised speeds is a possibility.
I replaced four sticks of GEIL memory with four sticks of Corsair. This was a total glamor purchase on my part. Most of my rigs bling is Corsair RGB and iCUE driven with the exception of my motherboard lighting and memory. This meant that any lighting profile I setup always included the default rainbow lighting of the GEIL memory. The LEDs on the Corsair memory are outstanding! Integration into my RGB profiles are also relatively painless using the iCUE software.I was not expecting much of a performance boost since I was replacing like memory. I ran some simple before and after memory benchmarks with SiSoftware Sandra and found a nice increase in performance and reduction in latency without applying any memory overclocks.Overall, I am very happy to finally have ... MoreI replaced four sticks of GEIL memory with four sticks of Corsair. I regret not making this investment when I first built the system.
Bought this RAM because the RAM I had was causing me to get blue screen crashes randomly. That RAM was also corsair but was the LPX Vengeance all black and was only two sticks of 8G. I had them in slots 2&4 I think so it was set up correctly just bad RAM. Bought 4 Sticks of 8G this time around. Since I replaced it my PC has ran perfect. Plenty of power to do anything. I play FFXIV while streaming TV on my second monitor through YouTube TV. While also browsing the internet for various things on top of that. I have corsair RAM, AIO, and keyboard. I am able to see temperatures and control lighting for everything through their app which is convenient. Definitely recommend this corsair RAM.
Everything works when it comes to performance but one of my modules came out with a little defect on the RBG lights. For example, when I change the lights to white there is a little spot that stays blue. This also happens when I have the lights in rainbow mode. The same spot that stays blue when it's white does a little glitch and the color is a little off. I didn't want to bother returning because I don't want to have to send it back and not have any ram on my PC. Therefore this RAM is great aside from that little weird light on one of my sticks. I would recommend but wish that they had better quality control before sending out the sticks.
For the price its a good deal, but the advertised speed CAN'T be reached, so is it truly a good deal? Not sure anymore. Maybe another brand does the job better and I might just switch to something that actually run at advertised speed. Shame, I always trusted Corsair, now i'm not sure. I can't find a proper tutorial. But that price for a default 2133 MHz??? Get something else. My rig if curious : Asus Rog-Strix B550-A, Ryzen 5 5600X, 32 Gb DDR4 ram (2133mhz LOL what a joke), RTX 3070, PSU RM750x, Corsair H100i Elite Capelix CPU cooler 240mm.
As I am finally taking the plunge and moving into the twenty-first century as far as computer equipment goes (I've been running old-school clunkers with Socket 7 motherboards!), it was time to build a new computer. I built my new system mainly for video editing, and so after watching many, many Youtube clips, it seems 32 gigs of ram is the recommended amount. I wanted something ram from a company I could trust. Corsair has been around for a long time, many motherboard manufacturers list them among the manufacturer's their boards will work with. I chose this pair because of Corsair's great reputation, but also because the built-in RGB lights on these modules will give my computer some style! My motherboard is an Asus Rog Stryx B550E-gaming board which has 4 dimm sockets. I installed the Dimm modules into sockets A2 and B2, per the motherboard manual's recommendation. (When you install two ram modules on your motherboard, you want them installed in the sots which will allow DUAL-CHANNEL. Sometimes mounting them right next to each other, instead of every-other socket defeats this feature. This is why it's important to consult the motherboard manual, as you will WANT to take advantage of dual channel, so be mindful of which sockets you install these modules into if there are more than two sockets on your board.) The bios on most motherboards, including the Asus Rog Strix is set to the default settings. What this means is it doesn't take full advantage of the memory modules speed. For example, these modules are rated for up to 3200 mhz, HOWEVER...... the system bias defaults to a speed much lower! To take advantage of the full speed these, and other modules can operate at, you must adjust the bias settings accordingly. How you do this will vary from one manufacturer's bios settings to another. On the Asus, I had to enable DOPC, then go into the tweaker settings and change the memory frequency to 3200. You'll want windows 10 professional, NOT the home version. Once I had the system up and working and windows installed, I went to Corsair's website and downloaded the ICUE software. It doesn't cost anything. This program allows you to set up the RGB lighting on the memory modules. There are several patterns to chose from, and you may link the lights to other rgb toys you might also have installed on your system. (I have mine set to blue and purple raindrop pattern. Looks really cool!). The ICUE software may look a bit intimidating at first. Jump over to youtube and do a search for Corsair Icue. There you will find several tutorials (some better than others) which will show you how to use it. Not much else to say about this product. It works as intended, and it looks great!
I chose this as it was recommended to me for my mid to high-budget pc build. 16 GB is plenty for my daily gaming and my school work. Originally was going for the 3600 MHz but because I just missed the last one on the shelf, I got the 3200 MHz. Looking back it was probably better that I got the 3200 MHZ as it works just fine. Having the 16 GB 2x8 setup is pretty much a must-have for the speedy dual-channel memory. The white is a big plus as it follows my somewhat white theme with my PC and the RGB bar on the stick is vibrant and smooth. The iCUE program used to control the Corsair RGB is easy to use and very intuitive. Overall very happy with the amount I paid and the product overall.
