Corsair Vengeance RGB RS 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18

Its great RAM, it performs, and with my setup, I can exceed the specs on the box. However I wasn't happy to discover that the proprietary software needed to address the RGB is a gigabyte worth of storage. What on earth takes a GB of storage to control lights??? If you're okay with this by all means buy it, as it is great RAM, and also great for the price I thought.

This is an amazing set of ram it is super fast reliable and good looking. I have also not had any problems with the set of ram. I have been using the ram for 3 weeks and I'm super happy with this purchase.

I bought this thinking it was ridiculous that a 3600 CL18 ram was going for cheaper than a 3200 CL16 ram. I only figured out after the fact that a lower CL is more desirable. Still though, I'm considering getting another kit to reach 32GB.

Corsair again kills it with the quality or RGB as it blends the colors - Dont forget the speed of the RAM as well!

The heat sink is nice and looks like an aerodynamic design as the RAM has a premium feel as if it were part of an aircraft aluminum or some type of stealth design. The fins are nice and have a solid feel. The LED light covers are placed on tight and did not look like any corners were cut so they will not come loose with the heat they generate when overclocked.

I tested this using a Ryzen 5800X and Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite. I like it overall. It's got decent performance, not the best. But it's not price like the best either. My only real gripe with it is that it doesn't work with iCue on my setup, but maybe that's just a software bug and not a problem with hardware.

Great Memory with RGB Lighting

The ram provides great value for its price. iCUE works on the ram so you can change the RGB lighting colors, pattern, and the frequency of the pattern. I would recommend this memory for someone looking to purchase ram rated for 3600MHz

Great Ram, Beautiful RGB.

Been using the Corsair Vengeance RGB in my main rig now for over a month. Ram works great. The Ram works at advertised speeds, the heatspeader is nice and well built and very effective at keeping the Ram cool. The main reason you buy this Ram is because of the Corsair ICUE support. The LED like all Corsair ARGB lighting has a nice soft glow (IE not overtly bright) which I love you can enjoy all the colors without turning your rig/room into a disco ball. Loading the ICUE software allows for some of the easiest way to coordinate all your RGB in you build. So if you own a Corsair AIO water cooler, or a Corsair case you can adjust all lighting with a few clicks. With the severe supply bottlenecks around computer components in 2021, I am impressed that notably are these available fro corsair, but their price is the same or lower than pre-pandemic. Stylish, bright, and from a company known for dependable components, I would highly recommend the CORSAIR Vengeance RGB RS.

Really lights everything up. Literally!

I sometimes forget about the A slots vs the B slots concerning RAM. It doesn't make sense that you should use the B slots 1st, but you should. So here's how I like to remember that: B: Best Slots A: Asinine Slots

Two thumbs up with one big caveat (for now).

I Installed this into and Asus based i7-7700k system. They defaulted to 1600MHz (DDR3200) but operated fine. I changed the XMP profile in the UEFI to a listed 1800MHz (DDR3600) and it booted up just fine at their rated speeds. The RAM ran great on the performance end and Corsair RAM has always been solid for me. The RGB lighting is amazing as usual. Very bright and vibrant colors with nice smooth switching. But here we run into the caveat, but for some it could be a big one. I could not get this to show up in iCue. This is a real issue because this means you can't even turn the lighting off. There are times when I need darkness and while it is great that these are vibrant, there needs to be a way to tone it down.
