COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream 50ml

This is an incredible and very effective sunscreen. The formula is definitely more like a moisturizer-in fact,on hot or oily days it doubles as a moisturizer and sunscreen for me. There is absolutely no white cast and it sinks in almost immediately. This is a soothing SPF 50++++ and protects against both UVB and UVA rays. The aloe is a great addition in the ingredients as it helps calm down my occasional redness and it’s very calming. It has never bothered my skin and it absolute protects my skin,as I’m very fair and prone to burning and I have yet to get a sunburn with this product on my face and neck. I've been using it now for several months, and am on my second tube. I have another, unopened, that I'll be bringing with me on vacation. This is a white (color disappears quickly), medium weight, creamy formula with a light, fresh, very pleasant scent. This formula not only offers sun protection, but is like a fresh drink of cool water on my skin too! A classic

This was one of the first K-beauty skincare items I used years ago. For the price, this sunscreen is still my fav. Other brands have sunscreens that contain the same amount for double the price! That being said, this formula is very basic and not as elegant feeling as more expensive brands. But! It does the same job for less! This sunscreen is suitable for combo, oily, and dry skin types. It does not leave a greasy or white cast finish on my Asian light-medium combo skin. It has a thicker lotiony texture compared to the newer thinner and watery formulas of other brands. However, it's still easy to blend. And again costs way less!!!!! Btw, this does contain a fragrance but it's not nearly as revolting or as strong as the sunscreens from America. Personally I've never broken out from this product or been that bothered by the scent. It's unnoticeable after initial application.

Good but not the best Korean sunscreen

I've tried quite a few Korean sunscreen and this is good for sure, but perhaps not the best of them all. I guess it also depends on your skin type. I'm combo and this sunscreen feels a little richer and heavier than others famous Korean ones. It's still very good and if you work it into the skin it doesn't leave a white cast, although when you first apply it, it may seem like it will (I am light skinned though and cannot say how it would perform on darker skin tones). It has a slightly oilier feel, so it could be perfect for someone with dry skin. That being said, it hasn't broken me out at all and I still consider it a great SPF, better than some Western ones. I would recommend this to a friend, but I bear in mind that lighter options are available.

Not as good as I predicted

This sunscreen is one of the most popular so I wanted to try it.Unfortunately the first the I noticed was the white cast which makes it difficult to wear during the day unless you are going to stay at home.If you use a small amount, then you can get away with wearing it, but that is not how sunscreen is supposed to be worn. Also the texture feels thick when you apply it to the face so I would not be able to then use another suncreen with it.When I have used it over moisturiser, it tends to pill or look sticky.There is no fragrance however, and although I would not say it feels soothing like the name suggests, I do like to use it when my skin feels very sensitive and irritated. Perfect acne-prone

My skin is very liable to getting clogged pores, and every other sunscreen that I've tried, including the Joseon of Beauty one, has broken me out horribly. This COSRX sunscreen has my heart right now. It does not burn my eyes (WHICH I AM BIG ON), blends out very smoothly without causing a white cast, and has not broken me out at all! It adds more moisture to my skin while protecting it, and I am absolutely in love with it. This is the first ever sun screen that has not caused more acne or clogged pores for me, and I will be repurchasing this for the rest of my life. Thank you COSRX for making this product. Strange Formula

I'm surprised at the number of glowing reviews this product has. While it's not a mineral sunscreen, it almost feels like one going on. It's thick, dry-ish feeling, and a little tough to spread. But the absolute worst thing about it is that it pills like crazy! I end up looking like I'm molting, with little white pills and flakes all over my face, in my hair, or on my collar. At least it doesn't otherwise leave a white cast and is comfortable to wear. I'll finish the tube, wearing it on overcast days I'm just hanging around the house. But I absolutely will not repurchase.

Wrong ingredients listed!!

I have really sensitive skin and get acne from a lot of ingredients, especially essential oils. So I I got this, for me expensive, product because it didn't have those ingredients listed. Then I tried it and noticed the scent. I checked the beautybay site again and was confused. The product itself has a big sticker over the INCI that I couldn't get off.
