Amazing clarity and color pop. Main use is for trout fishing in small streams in NC. I ended up going with the fantail in green mirror but return process was quick and easy. These are by far the best “polarized” sunglasses I’ve ever owned. They make it possible to see fish that others wearing other glasses cannot. Believe the hype. Yes they’re spendy, but if you’re on the fence go ahead and pull the trigger. You won’t be disappointed! Included pics of both Fantail and Rinconcito. Went with fantail. Personal preference. Grips your face better. I have a narrow head so it worked better for me.

I've probably owned more than 10 pairs of Costa's over the years and they have always been top notch and excellent. So, I bought these and the feel and look is out of this world.But, let me tell you they are the worst sunglasses I've ever put on my head. I would guess that I spend 45 minutes a day trying to clean them. I can't get whatever is on them off of the lenses. I've been through two bottles of the Costa spray and hand-washed them multiple times. I couldn't get them clean if my life depended on it. I've never had this issue with any other pair of my Costa's so I don't know why it's happening with these. I'm also probably using them more responsibly than any other pair I've owned. I purchased my first pair of Costa sunglasses after borrowing my buddies and HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in quality. Unfortunately the shop only had plastic lenses and couldn't order in the glass so I went plastic, huge mistake. The quality of the lenses are not even comparable. The distortion in both lenses is so poor I get a splitting headache and nausea feeling within minutes. Warranty claim has been submitted and pending response. Glass lenses only if you are ordering a pair of Costa's.

Costa does not offer glass for prescription lenses. Very disappointed in that. I didn’t read the fine print when ordering, my mistake. Looking through the plastic lenses is horrible compared to the glass. I paid around $600.00 for plastic prescription lenses. Thank God I bought them on sale and didn’t pay full price. I would have come out better buying a pair from the dollar store at least I would have known I was getting a piece of crap. I called Costa and was told they “might” come back out with prescription glass. That’s a shame since I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years. So if you are a baller and have tons of stimulus money to waste buy these pieces of crap. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Was hesitant to buy my costas through EZcontacts because 1. I'd never heard of them and 2. The pair were $100 cheaper than anywhere else.But, I went ahead and bought them and was very pleased. Fast shipping \& Literally $100 less than anywhere else for the exact same product. I highly recommend if you're into saving money.
I’ve own a pair of permits and reeftons which have been some of the best sunglasses I’ve ever owned so when costa ran the 30% off sale I decided to get the rinconcitos and they very cheap feeling and flimsy. When I got them one of the temple arms was lose and wobbly so I tightened it up but it still becomes lose and wobbly after taking them off and on so I contacted costa to return them last week and have not got a response after filling out the return form online. They are so bad that they have been placed to the side and not used after paying $200 for them. I just got a pair of Maui Jim Makoa sunglasses and they are WAY better frames and lens then costa. Best sunglasses I have purchased. The clarity of the glass polarized lenses are unmatched by any other sunglasses I have tried. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the zipper on the case was defective. It won't close properly because the teeth on the zipper are not lined up. I tried calling customer service to replace it but they said I would have to return the glasses too. You would think after spending $250+ the case would be high quality. Not impressed with Costas customer service either.
Sunglasses are terrific. The fit and coverage are described accurately. Purchased for my wife for outdoor activities walking, riding a bicycle and sailing. She tells me these are the best sunglasses overall she's ever had. Most of all the reduction of glare and maintaining such sharp images.
This is my 3rd pair of Costa glasses. I have had the Jose, Luke, and now Rinconcito. Let me start by saying I Love the frames. They are super light and look great. It’s the lenses. I always get the 580 blue mirror lenses. I have had glass and plastic.There have a blue tint, but there is no mirror. You can barely tell they are blue at all. If you set them next to my blue mirror Luke’s, there is no comparison. The Luke’s are shiny blue mirror. These are a dull blue tint, not mirror. It’s very disappointing because I love Costa and the Blue Mirror, but these just don’t seem like Costa Quality.
Customer Service was awesome making these sunglasses happen for me due to original sunglasses being out of stock. I'm pleased and recommend these sunglasses. The fit and combination of the tortoise frames and green mirror lens look great. I love the clarity optics the glass lens. The quality is very good. I've gotten several compliments on the sunglasses.
