I needed a quick solution for my kitchen that provided a bit more counter and storage space. As I'm planning on renovating the kitchen in another year or so, I didn't want to go with a top-of-the-line solution. After surfing the River and narrowing my options, this unit quickly rose to the top for it's dimensions, appearance, and price. The package arrived quickly and I immediately jumped into assembling the unit. 1 hour and 15 minutes later, I was putting my silverware in the drawers and post in the cabinets. This unit is far more sturdy than I would have imagined for the price point. While I don't really use the caster wheels to move the unit, it's nice to have them and makes it simple to move the unit out of the way and clean the floor underneath. It would have been worth a few bucks more to have metal drawer rails; but the ones included are working fine and the drawers are carrying the weight of my utensils. Attach the hinges to the sides while they are flat on your work surface. Install the back panels into the dado of the top and secure with one screw in the upper left panel, and one in the lower right panel just to hold them in. Do not install casters yet as we have a tile floor and it's easier to square up with base spread over several tiles. Hang the doors. you can tug from corner to corner to perfectly align the doors. It's pretty typical for it's cost. The paneling on the back doesn't stay totally adherent to the back. One of the doors doesn't hang straight like the other one and almost rubs against the drawer above. There are dings on the top that exposes the underneath that I had to fill in. It's like what Canadian Tire sells and costs about the same. It took longer to get but with the Fraser Valley flooding at that time it wasn't surprising.Yes I could return it but would I have to take it apart? Not being able to drive how could I take it back to Best Buy? Living on my own having another person to help me put it together isn't easy to get. Came well packaged and everything was intact. All the parts were included and the instructions were clear to follow. Put it together by myself (70 years old and female!) Just needed my power screw driver. The finished product looks very good and I am very pleased with it. The back is a bit of a let down but I have covered it in sticky back plastic - nice faux tile pattern - and it has made a real difference.

While attaching the doors and hinges to the cabinet I used the correct screws and used the pre-drilled holes as the instructions showed. The left front door is lower than the right front door. (See photo) As a result the gaps between the top drawers and the doors are different (see photo) and the magnetic catch to hold the left door closed doesn't line up exact and the door swings open on its own. Assembly took me about 3 hours by myself and was pretty straight forward. All parts were there. Numbers on some of the parts were kind of hard to find. One piece didn't have a number. It might help to have a helper, especially when you put the doors on as by then it is on wheels and trying to hold the door steady with the cart tending to move is a little tricky. There was one piece on the side opposite the side with the handle that had a flaw where the wood trim seems to have separated from the side panel. It is hardly noticeable so I suppose I will keep it and maybe ut a little white caulk there.
This was just as described, I would suggest adding glue to the dowels. Our only complaint is that they need to stop using the parts stickers with the numbers on them, WHY USE NON REMOVAL STICKERS? they are a Bear to get off and then you have to get the glue off, just use stickers that come off easy. The parts sheet with the screws does not match the actual screw size, so be very careful what screws you use. Why give me a picture of the screw and it not actually match the screw length? All is all, it is a pretty nice cabinet for the money
first off it took 3 hours to put together but once together it's mostly good looking. I say mostly because there are a couple of problems with it1) none of the holes to hold the back on are pre-drilled so it took a lot of work to get it attached2) the magnets that hold the door shut and the magnet plate attached to the door do NOT line up at all so closing the cabinets is impossible3) the instructions were absolute garage including not listing all the steps, displaying the wrong pieces in the technical drawings and not labeling all the pieces in the boxon the pro side I do like the height it ended up being, but one pro verses for all the frustration this produced I'd say if you weren't handy buy something else
