I LOVE this bookshelf! It fit my space perfectly, although I had to add legs to lift it up higher so it didn’t block a light switch. Turns out I love it even more with the legs!It’s SO EASY to assemble! I did it alone in about thirty minutes.The quality is outstanding for the price!! Waterproof surface, not paper laminate, and it comes with plenty of matching screw hole cover stickers of the same material.I’ve gotten SO MANY compliments on this shelf!!

I bought to two shelf deal. It arrived faster than Amazon said it would. Packaging was undamaged and packed nicely. Assembly was easy. Has easy to follow diagrams, although pictures and wording was small. First one once done felt a little more sturdy than the second one but both came with the brackets and screws/ anchors to put them in the wall. I did adjust where one of the brackets was originally pre drilled because I wanted these to be screwed into studs. Once secured to the wall these babies are not moving an inch. Even on my slightly uneven floors and a 3 kids jumping around. These shelves are perfect for the space I needed to fill with out obstructing the walking path from one room to the next. Highly recommend!

The instructions, being diagrams only, were a little hard to follow at first. They were vague and also, in mu opinion, incorrect. I am no stranger to KD furniture and this ended OK but only after a couple of starts and stops and some disassembly of what I had built and reassembly. What hardware part goes where is not clear and a couple of the diagrams led me down the wrong path. Once I figured out what was intended, I disassembled what I had made, started over and it then went together pretty easily. The final result was pleasing. How well it holds together, only time will tell.

I bought the set of two bookshelves, and then a single bookshelf to add to it to make three for my wall. The set of two is wonderful. The single item however is clearly subpar with much cheaper hardware. Many of the boards were slightly damaged. The set of two bookshelves also came with stickers to cover the screws which is a nice touch. The single bookshelf did not come with them. Beware. They look as if they are the same - but the set of two is of much superior quality.
I needed to buy a bookcase for one wall, and I wanted something stylish and I got it! Putting four together is perfect. I was a little worried about quality but didn’t need to be, these are sturdy. All the pieces are labeled with super easy instructions to build. It took roughly one hour or less to build each one. Tip: if you put two together screw a bracket on the top to join the two together, this helps level them and take care of a little wabble.

This L-shaped wall anchors are functional enough that I could leave some gap and still, they are sturdy enough to hold the bookshelf from tipping.
Wow, I love this bookshelf. I like to have books and drawing supplies next to my bed. There will be no more clutter on the bedside table or floor for me. I was dreading putting this together and took a chance in buying it. But it is fabulous and yes I’m a female that did it by myself with no problems. I’m thinking this would also make great shelf for multiple places or reasons. I may get one for a walk in the bathroom to display beautiful towels, soaps and baskets. We will see what else I come up with!!
After I assembled this bookshelf I realized I was missing 1 item #4. I was unable to build the 6th tier. I contacted the vendor (3rd party) and they said I had to wait 1-2 months for the part. I opted out and have to disassemble and return at the store (super inconvenient. ) Its disappointing because it's a beautiful design and sturdy. Which is why I ordered another one. Hopefully this one comes with all parts.
The instructions say to build from top to bottom. It is a very heavy piece. So when I went to stand it up some of the shelves weakened and others just broke off. Had the instructions said to build bottom to top perhaps it would have faired better. I can’t return because I don’t have a car and the item is too heavy. But the quality is so poor, I don’t think it would’ve lasted too long. I won’t be buying anything else from Costway, and my trust in Target for selling them is severely compromised.
This is a beautiful mid-century bookcase! I wanted something that would separate my living and dining areas but not close them off too much from each other, and this was the perfect solution. Because it was not set flush against the wall, it was 100% necessary to use the wall anchors to keep it stable. I think this piece adds so much to my living space and I would highly recommend this!
