The Capa is exactly what I was looking for, however I can't find one that fits. I am 5'9" 143 lbs. and my hip measurement is 34.5". The men's medium was too big in every measurement so I returned for a men's small. The small fit perfectly everywhere except the hips. When zipped up the bottom hem was pulled super tight around my hips, to the point where I could hear seams cracking when I bent over or squatted down. Since it was stretched tight the bottom hem would also pop off my hips up around my waist when I raised my arms, and I would have to pull the the jacket back down around my hips. If the Capa had an extra 1-1.5" around the hip it would be perfect for me. Anyway - awesome colorway and a very warm, lightweight jacket. Sizing just didn't work for me.

I took a trip to Iceland in November and needed something to keep me warm. I used a Cotopaxi fleece as a midlayer and used the Capa Insulated Jacket for added warmth. I couldn't ask for more. It kept me warm the entire trip (sometimes too warm) and held up to all the walking, hiking, and inclement weather we experienced. I will be exploring other clothing through Cotopaxi.

Purchased the Capa jacket as a midlayer for skiing/snowboarding and for casual out and about errands. The jacket is warm, lightweight and less bulk than the Fuego. I'm currently between a LG/XL and went with the Lg on this one. Overall the fit is ture, but there is some bunching in the front of the shoulders when crossing arms or bending down to adjust boots and bindings. Would be taken to next level with an interior (especially chest) pocket. Stitching is already coming loose on one sleeve.

If you're an in-between size person, I'd recommend sizing down. Notice that the model is 6'0" and wearing a medium. I didn't at first and ordered a large so ended up exchanging for a smaller size. The exchange was super easy. I sent my jacket in on a Monday and had the exchange back the same week.
Love the jacket, comfortable and light, haven’t tested it out in the cold yet but I’m sure it will be great. Based on the 3 tops that I purchased at the same time from Cotopaxi, I will say it runs large for the size in the waist. I have larger shoulders and generally XL is my size, in some cases tight. The Cotopaxi tops are large enough to leave room up top, but the stomach section is so large that I wish I’d have had the size a little tighter on top just to not have the excessive room at the bottom. Great product, just had to learn my size. Great quality and love the colors.
The material is top notch, but… I would have liked some solid color options, but then again I probably won’t buy these products ever again..the jacket seemed to be built for skinny waisted models and not real people…The 2 things that I hated most about this jacket was the waist was a bit snug. I couldn’t go a size bigger then the sleeves would be too long..also the pockets were not comfortable.. my wrists were being chaifed by the zipper and kept catching on my Apple Watch.
I love everything Cotopaxi and have tons of your stuff! I love the look of this jacket so much , also the weight and texture…unfortunately the fit was not right this time…the upper part was perfect but was quite narrow at the waist so had to return it. I will be on the look out for a similar style whereas you frequently come out with new products. I’m always open to expanding my collection:)
My very picky Son included this lovely jacket on his Christmas wish list. I am hoping he loves it as much as I do. It is lightweight but appears to be a very warm jacket. I absolutely love the color combination and found a henley that matches it perfectly. Sizing appears to be spot on. I think we will be repeat customers.
This jacket is very lightweight and not very puffy at all. I didn't know if it would keep me warm in 20°F but it's been great so far. I'll keep testing as it gets colder. It felt a little rigid or plasticy at first but after a while it's fine. The small fits me well, I'm 5'8 and 135 lb. My only complaint, if anything, is that the blue and black jacket's blue hues are slightly more subdued than I thought they'd be. But it still looks good and I'm overall very happy with it.
There are a lot of pros to this jacket, It's in the same class as the Patagonia Nano Puff -- light synthetic insulator. The style is similar, but the fit is less boxy (closer to the Arcteryx Proton in some ways) and the colourways are more interesting. The colourways give it a more casual, retro look for urban and casual outdoor use, and if you're wearing this for winter sport, you're likely going to be wearing it under a shell or other layers, anyhow. Build quality seems high, and it's less expensive than the Nano Puff. I also got this on a great sale, which made it an even better buy.Feature-wise, this is also a close fit to the Nano Puff with the same new Primaloft Gold PURE insulation but more of it. In terms of warmth, this will take me down to a few degrees ... MoreThere are a lot of pros to this jacket, It's in the same class as the Patagonia Nano Puff -- light synthetic insulator. In terms of warmth, this will take me down to a few degrees celsius standing around. A base layer, fleece or similar might get me a few more degrees, but lower than that, this a layer for something else.Breathability is about par for this category, with active insulators and fleeces better equipped to support active use. The colourway does a nice job of keeping this from looking like a garbage bag, but fans of a plain matte black might look to the Arcteryx Proton or the Mountain Hardwear Kor Strata. I have both. Neither is quite as warm as the Capa, but they have a little more room for layering and aore.robust shell fabric.Elastic at the cuffs is nice, but there are no chest or drop in pockets for those who want that in an insulator. Zippers works like a charm and overall build quality seems high. This fits small compared with other brands. I'm 5' 9", 145lbs, Alim build, long torso. I normally wear an XS for Patagonia and Arcteryx regular fit, a small for Houdini, a medium for Castelli, and have a small Cotopaxi fleece which fits quite large in comparison. But I went with the size guide and the small fits me quite nicely. If you're worried, get a Membership and take advantage of free returns. All in all, this is a stylish, fitted alternative to the Nano Puff in most ways, only less expensive.
