Hard wearing but inflexible2014 - Elastane introduced to main slim chino line2016 - Further refinements to cotton and cut, slimmer through the thigh, dye runs out quicker on hard wearing areas (knees)Some of these innovations have been great! Getting rid of the button fly, introducing elastane for the stretch, and a much larger variety of colour.I have noticed year on year, the quality getting worse. One of the best chinos that I have ever bought. They keep their shape and the extra stretch makes them super comfy. Just be careful washing, the colour faded out of the them fairly quick.
Great fit, the slim leg style is perfect. The washed black colour has a casual feel that can be dressed up when needed. I wear them all the time.
I wear CR stretch chinos most days for work and consider myself very lucky as these pants are the best when it comes to comfort, the stretch has the perfect amount of give. These chinos can be worn in almost any scenario from white sneakers for a casual vibe to leather chelsea boots for a night out.Through the Summer months I did unfortunately go through a few pairs of the black and navy stretch chinos as they seemed to get sun damaged and discolored, in saying that I did alternate a couple of pairs daily which is probably considered heavy use for pants like these.
Always a reliable/quality piece from CR. Comfortable and versatile. I have been buying CR chinos for years. Only wish you could get sizes in between I find 32 is a bit small while 34 is a bit big. It would be great if they did a 33.
