For so many years, this was a tried and true powder in my freelance kit. It has a natural finish and I loved it for setting the whole face (not the under-eye.) There’s no SPF, but use a separate product specifically for sun protection. So that being said, I would still most definitely recommend to others. Especially if you’re an artist looking for a good powder for your freelance kit that works for a bunch of skin tones. As far as I know, I owned all of the shades so I could accommodate anyone that booked with me, and because this powder is more on the affordable side for me personally, so I was able to invest in buying them all. I think that if you have oily skin it’s good at keeping them at bay for many hours, but I don’t think if will keep you completely shine ... I think that if you have oily skin it’s good at keeping them at bay for many hours, but I don’t think if will keep you completely shine free and matte for the entire day. I do think you may have to blot and/or touch up per your own preference if your wearing this for multiple hours. It always depends on how oily your skin is, but if you are someone that is super oily they make a matte version of the powder. Overall, I think it’s a great versatile product and I’ve gotten so much use out of it over the past 6+ years. I personally used the shade 125 Buff Beige on myself and I’ve gone through at least 3. I have very dry skin, and I have found powders I like better and how they sit on my specific skin type better. But whenever I need something that I know I can count on whether it be for myself or a client, I can always reach for this and I know I will be happy with the results. Just keep in mind that this powder can be overdone. If you apply to much it will give the skin a powdery look of course. I highly recommend using a good setting spray after using this powder to set the face. I do that with all of my powders regardless, but I think that it always helps the makeup, but powders specifically to melt into the skin beautifully.Less... Show more

Best foundation!
I bought this in buff beige last week. Its finish is so natural and perfect. Looks like your skin but better! Breathable as buildable. Love it so much! I have tried expensive brands Ike Clinique and this is so much better! I’m in my early 50s does not settle into fine lines. It’s amazing! Gray price point and cruelty free! This is my new go to foundry for everyday! Absolutely love the color match on the covergi website! It works to find your true match!... Show more

Breathable medium coverage. Great for daily wear!
Purchased this product a few days ago and I am so glad I did! I've been looking for my tone for years. I've been wearing makeup since my first year of high school. But never really found a product that matches my skin without mixing and blending a variety of products. Until now, I have dry skin with hyper-pigmentation my shade is D3 Honey Beige. It gives medium coverage and wears light and breathable. I'm so pleased to say the search is finally over! I'm in LOVE with this product.... Show more

Exceeded my expectations!
I've been using a good variety of CG products since I was a little girl playing in my mom's makeup. As a very fair skinned person, I ironically struggle to find a shade of foundation that is not only light enough, but also matches the undertones of my skin without making me look too yellow or pink. The L1 (Ivory) shade is my perfect match! I put it on the night I bought it with some not so high hopes of it matching me skintone after many times of trying other brands to find my match. I didn't even have to blend it int my neck to try and make it look even, if that makes sense.I'm no spokes person, but I love the formula and hydrating feel of the foundation. It does not feel heavy on the skin, which I enjoy as someone who experiences sensory issues. For people ... Great makeup!
I just bought this Tru Blend , the hydrating formula , not the matte. to replace the CoverGirl clean foundation that I have used for years Being in my 70's , I also use the simply ageless. Well, I have to say I'm delighted and will be staying with it . Even tho , I have alot of open pores and acne scars, I wanted a light to medium coverage foundation to preserve my skin, not heavy and thick. I always look at least 10 yrs younger, I had some trouble trying to figure out what shade as I always use buff Beige in all , but this one does not label that way, I took a chance on the L4 ,classic beige and it's perfect .... Great Natural Coverage
I love that this is sheer and hydrating, without being greasy. This is a hybrid foundation, a cross between a tinted moisturizer and a traditional foundation. Yet, this has more longetivity in wear. Using a dense flat top brush, yields light-medium coverage and a natural soft matte finish. The shades dry down/set darker. I am fair, with neutral undertones, and the lightest shade "L1 Ivory" is a perfect color match. Love the locking pump bottle, and the price is very reasonable! Will continue to purchase!... Show more

Hydrating, long-lasting, affordable
I have combination fair skin with neutral undertone. Finding a hydrating foundation that doesn’t make me oily, doesn’t oxidize, isn’t drying/matte, and lasts all day, is like a needle in a haystack. My favorite foundation that achieved all this was sadly discontinued, so I’ve been on the hunt for a replacement, and this CoverGirl one is pretty close! It’s hydrating, long lasting, and doesn’t oxidize. I’ve tested it for 10 hours in heat (Nevada), humidity (Texas), blinding sunlight (Arizona), and it’s held up every time, looking fresh all day! L1 is a good match for fair with neutral undertone, and L2 is a fraction darker, more fair-tan with warmer undertone. This is a great foundation and I hope CG keeps it around!... Show more

Sheer perfection!
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect foundations for my normal to dry mature skin. This foundation came highly recommended by Julie Page Morgan on TikTok. I can see why that is.The foundation has no detectable scent. It is lightweight, hydrating, and blurs pores and texture. It feels like I’m wearing nothing at all. It also sets down after application which eliminates the need for powder—yet another plus. And all this for less than $10? Absolutely astounding!... Show more

Turned orange
Turned orange at some point. I liked this foundation for a few months, everything was fine. Then one day my face had an orangish tint after I put the foundation on. I thought it maybe something went wrong with my foundation and sunscreen combination, even though I hadn’t changed anything about what I was using. Eventually I put the foundation on my face with just a moisture underneath, and it was orange. I threw it out. I wouldn’t buy this product, do not recommend.... Show more
