This item is not new. The original package was opened at the bottom and one of battery cell was fasten by storage tape. Four other cells looks good but I did not try if they work.

My Honda Civic would not let me unlock it without sounding the alarm It turns out the battery in the key fob was original and has been in the key for about 10 years. So, the battery went flat. After a quick Google I found this. ordered it. The battery arrive a day or so later. 10 mins after opening I had a fully functional key again. The cost was about 10 times cheaper than the dealer.

Clicker stoped working.Got these batteries with fast delivery. Now I can open doors at 100mtrs. Better than rubbing clicker on the door.🙂
I suspected that the battery in my car central locking fob was due for renewal as I had to stand next to the car to unlock it. Replaced the old battery with the new Panasonic cr1616 battery and was suprised at the difference it made, I can unlock the car from atleased 5mtrs now.
Dont buy this brand very cheap all the time they come dead or last a month and get s call back from customerThis brand is junk made a lot of return calls within 1st month due to dead battery
Good quality battery for keyfobs, it's worth paying for a named brand and i am confident these will last a good while, i have used the cheap brand at lidl ( Tronic ) and they only lasted a few weeks.
