The Crankbrothers Mallet clip-in shoe plays nice on the race track and at the bike park. Our innovative Match System optimizes engagement for any MTB clip-in system whether that’s Crankbrothers or SPD. It comes with Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in a neutral position so they are ready to ride with Crankbrothers pedals right out of the box. Match Box The ramped cleat box offers easy front and rear pedal entry and mud shedding. A Race Zone setback on the cleat track allows the cleat to be positioned further toward the heel for added control and stability when descending. Match Compound Our mid-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows for easy pedal entry and exit and is hard enough to hold up to wear and tear. The radial lug pattern around the cleat box is designed to provide smooth release from the pedal body. Match Outsole The tread pattern is designed for traction off the bike. Directionally angled and spaced toe and heel lugs offer traction for hiking up or down steep terrain. The ramped toe provides walkability on steep terrain.

Crankbrothers did a great job with their first set of shoes. I found the Navy/Silver colorway the most elegant (the white option as well) and really appreciate the lack of bold logos everywhere. A very clean look overall and what I was looking for.Shipping to Northern California took about two weeks and when I contacted Tradeinn customer support, their response were quick and thoughtful.

Great shoe, true fit and very comfortable!
Great shoe as you would expect from Crank brothers. Good fast delivery and a great price.
Looks sick, super comfy, great engagement
Love the quality, and style. Fit great! Haven’t used them to ride yet as I’m waiting on magnetic pedals to come back in stock but 10/10 for sure!
Shoe is overall a great MTB clip shoe. The match system works great with mallet pedals. The shoes coming with the cleats already on is also a bonus!!The one downside and all it took was getting accustomed to it was that the heel feels a little short. Almost like your foot will peel out the back. There are little rubber studs that hold/grip your sock in the heel of the shoe and it helps, but the feeling is still there and takes a few rides to adjust to.
These are supportive and durable. I have been riding in these in all weather and they keep me warm and dry. Easy to clean.
