Crayola 48 Washable Sidewalk Chalk

I work at a small library and love to work with chalk during the summer months. Last year we “chalked the block with kindness”. I loved how many color options came in the box. This allowed our local sidewalks to be extra colorful. The sticks themselves are very durable and hard to break. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was having to unwrap the individual pieces of chalk, they were wrapped tightly with plastic and took a while to get out. This also aided in breaking a few sticks. Fast forward to this year and we had a lot of small pieces left over. We grounded it up, mixed it with a little water and used it as paint. It dried so beautifully! I will note that even after a couple of rain showers, the chalk is still visible, but that is no bother to us.

We absolutely love Crayola Chalk in our house. It’s very much one of our favorite outdoor activities that’s safe for small kids. Crayola is our favorite brand to use due to how vibrant the colors are compared to other brands. Don’t get me started on how durable each piece is…. It has held up to even the strongest of scribbles. Plus, nobody likes chalk snapping while the are drawing. Iykyk. Clean up? Simple and easy. When your all done and ready to go put those littles down for their nap, just wash it all away with water. Trust me, get some chalk… it will save you hours of insanity

I really like the wide range and shades of colors, and the non-rolling design! I mean, it doesn't make a difference for the toddler, but it makes a difference for the adult playing with the toddler! This chalk is just what my two-year-old wanted! It leaves its residue, but I expected that. It's chalk. But it colors well on the pavement we use it on, the hues are vibrant, and he gets such joy from playing with this product. I'll definitely be purchasing again once he's used, broken, stepped on or eaten all of these . The are very durable and well packaged.

Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk is absolutely amazing for outdoor fun, especially when drawing Pokémon! The colors are vibrant and bold, making it easy to create detailed and eye-catching designs on the pavement. My kids and I love drawing our favorite Pokémon characters, and the chalk holds up well without breaking easily. The best part is how easily it washes off with just a bit of water – no mess or residue left behind. It’s safe, fun, and perfect for kids and adults alike who enjoy expressing creativity outside. Highly recommend this for any outdoor drawing activity!

Crayota Sidewalk Chalk has been an absolute delight for my family's outdoor activities. The vivid colors bring our driveway and sidewalks to life, turning them into temporary masterpieces. What I appreciate most is how smoothly the chalk glides across surfaces, making it easy for both kids and adults to create intricate designs. Cleanup is a breeze too; a quick hose down or rain shower washes it all away. It's been a fantastic way to encourage creativity and spend quality time together outdoors. Highly recommended for any family looking to add some color to their outdoor adventures!

Cleanup is simple, as the chalk washes away easily with water. Overall, Crayola sidewalk chalk is a wonderful choice for outdoor play and artistic expression. Highly recommended for its quality and reliability.

Okay, these crayons are FANTASTIC. I bought them for my 17 mom old who is just starting to color. They’re so easy for her to hold, and they’re a sturdy plastic style with a twist up crayon, so they don’t just snap in half. The color is so beautiful and smooth. I was really impressed and happy with how nice they were to color with. They’re also really easy to wash off of surfaces. My daughter colors in her kitchen tower, and she’s scribbled on the counter and on the tower several times, but the color wiped off with almost no effort with just a wet cloth. Seriously so easy! The company says they’re non-toxic, which was also essential for me. These are seriously the best crayons for toddlers!

Crayola Sidewalk Chalk is hands down the best way to turn outdoor space into a vibrant canvas of creativity. From the moment I opened the box, I was greeted by an array of colors that sparkled. I was disappointed that the talk did not have alot of glitter in them. One great feature was how easy it was to wash away. A quick spray with the hose or rain my creation disappeared leaving a clean slate for our next creation! Overall, Crayola Sidewalk Chalk is a must - have for anyone looking to add a splash of color to their outdoor adventures. Whether you’re a budding artist or just looking for some good old-fashioned fun, this chalk delivers! Highly recommend.

The box contains 48 thick, sturdy pieces with a wide variety of colors. They are completely non-toxic and do wash away easily. The box, which has a handle built in, holds up well and it is very easy to store due to its shape. The chalks are square, not round, which are very cool and great for little ones. The colors are a little less vibrant looking when you first open the box, but they are great when you actually use them on the sidewalk or concrete. My family has hours of fun playing with these chalks, creating all sorts of masterpieces in our driveway. I am very pleased with it and would probably purchase again.

So I love sidewalk chalk… I find it is the best to occupy kids on any day (so long as I make sure they all have their “designated” spaces, to avoid issues, just in case lol)., I always start by making a hopscotch and a flower (I’m not a great artist), and that gives them a starting point (if they don’t already have one). I have tried a lot of different sidewalk chalks, and Crayola by far wins for colors actually matching what they look like. And, sometimes, those colors will last… and last…. If not washed away soon enough lol. I believe it was a blue color that really got stuck. Yes I would absolutely recommend to friends and family (I’ve actually gifted the big boxes of these before for birthdays). They are especially great for people are really good at art as the accurate color range makes it easier to create what you’re intending to. I suppose these could be reserved for older children and younger kids can start with the cheaper basically all whites (but they dont know any better).
