I have been buying Model Magic for years now for my grandson. He likes to make characters from his movies and at one time ( when he was 4 yrs old ) he loved making the Starbucks mermaid. This clay is not messy and doesn't stick to clothing. It's awesome. Our closest store is always running out of it because we buy it every other day. Highly recommend.

The clay was easy to work with, can use water to help make it pliable, the color does come off when you wet it so gloves were needed. When it dried it cracked a lot, it was for a school project so it held up for 4 days. But more cracks daily. I had also used never drying clay some parts it held up better. So Crayola clay easy, fun to use , play and great value. For a project use never drying clay, less cracking.

I use the small packages of Model Magic to make snowboards, snow tubes, and snow people for an O gauge train layout for Christmas. I find the different colors affordable when purchased in small amounts. The white Model Magic in a small package works great. The Model Magic white tub had clay that was an off-white. The texture of the tub clay was not as smooth as the clay in small packages. It was a bonus to find these on sale at Michael's!

This product is great. I'm a painter, so I like to incorporate different and unique materials into my art work. Using air dry clay, let's your basic 2D paintings turn into an exciting 3D painting. It is next level creativity with things as simple as a grassy tree scenery or an animal or just going in with texture for an abstract piece. 10/10 recommend to any artist stuck in a rut or anyone who wants to explore more creativity.
Love how verstile this product is! You can easily mix colors together to create new shades, and it holds up super well to being played with, shaped, and molded by the kids as they create their masterpieces. It also stores super well as long as it's still sealed or put into an air tight container, and can withstand some heat if transporting or needing to be stored in the garage for a time. Colors hold up on finished pieces for a long time.
This is magic! As a kindergarten teacher I buy this often. This is the best dough to make a variety of crafts with kids. I always get white as I let the kids use markers on it for embellishments. We use cookie cutters and let dry overnight. You can poke a hole through for an ornament. You can use like mondeling clay to make figures. It’s soft and easy enough for my 2 year old granddaughter to use.Highly recommend this product Model Magic
My 6 year old uses model magic to make miniature animals, and tiny furniture for her animals like sofas and beds. She loves it and and could go through package after package. It dries in a day or so and is lightweight and fairly durable (like a foam). We sometimes use different colors (more convenient) but sometimes we just get white model magic and then paint it or draw on it with sharpies after it dries. Super versatile and fun. The only problem is it’s hard to go back to play dough after being able to make permanent toys with this!
A very unique clay. It’s very sticky to itself and is great for quick clay sketches. You can even make cardboard, tin foil, or wire foundations to flesh out larger maquettes or sculptures. I love to use this for rough clay ideas. It does dry w/ cracks, which isn’t great, but for my purposes, it’s perfect.
The biggest problem with any kind of moldable material for kids is the mess. Slime, glitter, dried-up Play Doh = headaches. Model Magic is the perfect substitute. Kids can easily mold figures and other toys, and you won’t be cleaning gunk from every surface they touch for months.
I use this for some scale sculpting and only the thinnest pieces ever dry. Also at that thickness it tends to crack around any seam! the stuff breaks apart if you have a join that isn't basically wet when it contacts... it starts to form a skin immediately... but isn't dry after months.... go figure...Sago Bros is amazing compared to this, night and day. Only down side if you get the sago brother packs, they will dry out from the individual packs if left like that for well over a year.
