I love La Mer products, however the design of the toner bottles is very disappointing.After 14 hours long haul flight, I found out the la mer leaked in my luggage. I hand tight the lid till there is no more turn, it is not 100% sealed, perhaps caused by high air pressure. I don't usually write reviews, however this is the 3rd time it happened of a different la mer toner bottom.When the issue first occurred, I super tighten the lid and kept it in a zip bag. It didn't leak, however afterwards I was having trouble opening the lid, the inside part of the lid got stuck, you can turn the silver lid, but the inside is not opening. I had to push down hard while turning. It then left a gap between the lid and bottom, it won't close properly. I wanted to try this cleanser and luckily I received a deluxe sample of this with an order. Well, I am so glad I did. This is wonderful! I use the cleansing gel which I love and then I use the Micellar Water with a cotton ball to remove excess makeup and dirt. It does a wonderful job. My skin actually feels very soft like I used a tonic or the treatment lotion. I use this now in place of the Treatment Lotion. After I use it, I continue with a serum, Concentrate, and/or the Soft Cream. I also wash my face with the Cleansing Gel and then use this right before working out. I like a clean, no cream face for workouts but my skin would feel dry. Now with the Micellar Water, my skin feels soft and fresh during my workouts. This product was purchased to take with me on a vacation to the Canadian Rockies. Since I did not intend on wearing full make-up other than sunscreen, I felt this new product would travel well and give me the cleansing results needed with a minimal amount of time.On my return home, I have been using it after I cleanse with the cleansing foam on full make-up days to give me another chance to totally remove all traces of debris. It has worked in both cases for me with fabulous results.
The miscellular is great. Especially for people on the go. It cuts down 3 to 5 minutes of your routine. Instead of washing your face with one of the 4 La Mer cleansers, and then toning your face (with one of the 2 toners La Mer offer). You just apply a generous amount on a cotton pad and wipe your entire face. I wipe upward, to do the opposite of gravity. In general you should ALWAYS apply all La Mer products anti-gravity. Definitely a must buy!
I love love love this cleanser. I have been waiting my whole life for such an easy and effective overall cleanser. I only wear eye shadow and this lifts it away in addition. If you wear heavy makeup it is probably not the best, you would need to use a lot. Favorite cleanser ever!
I highly recommend this cleanser. It cleans my face perfectly and leaves it slightly hydrated. I use it prior to my regular LaMer ritual and have often skipped over my foam cleanser for this.
I received a sample of The Cleansing Micellar Water as a regular La Mer patron. Having thanked the gracious representative, I put the sample away in contemplation of coming hip replacement surgery. This is incredible and I cannot neglect to tell others of my great relief. As I was packing my bag, I included the sample. Lucky me. Surgery can take a terrible toll on one's skin, leading to dryness; dullness; flaking; taunt feeling--you name it! I took cotton pads and washed my face solely with this product. Nothing else while in the hospital. The nurses helped me because I trust La Mer. Today I went out, walker and all. Honestly, people told me how great my face looks. I am 68 years old. God bless my surgeon, my friends, and La Mer. I will walk again.
I am halfway through my huge bottle of this stuff already after receiving a free sample and realizing I needed this in my life. I tend to use it in the morning to freshen up if I dont have time to cleanse right away or at all. Its a total time saver and you dont feel like you are sacrificing anything by skipping the cleanser. This leaves you skin feeling so refreshed and amazing I prefer it to cleansing sometimes. Follow straight up with renewal oil for a fresh glowy look. I think this would be perfect for camping or festival life but I use it whenever I want that super fresh face feeling. Also good for unplanned guest sleepovers.
I love the new Cleansing Micellar Water. I use it everyday as it just leaves my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. I removes all the makeup, even Waterproof Mascara which I always find hard to remove. Great product!
