Cricut Joy Smart Permanent Vinyl 5.5 x 48" Matte Mint

Just what I needed! Arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition. I got the bronze and the aqua sheets- the colours looked a bit different in person (from the colour swatches) but that's to be expected with vinyl. It would be nice to have an image of what all the colours look like in person on the listing :)

DO NOT BUY!

This is the worst Vinyl money can buy! I bought this yesterday to cut a few decals. Glossy white is more like "old white" ie has a yellow tint. Weeding it is the worst, then the transfer tape I also bought is a total nightmare. Stay away from this stuff, especially if you are using a vinyl cutter.

Dependable (most of the time)

Works great most of the time but saying it’s permanent is kind of a stretch, you can definitely get it off glass, and pretty easily! I am going to try alcohol wipes before sticking it on next time to see if it helps!

Great but could use some more Umph

This little guy was exactly what I was looking for! It cuts words out in different fonts and other pictures. My only problem is that it won’t let me download other fonts.Helpful but needs more umph

Great to get started learning

While I dislike how you lose so much at the top using the smart vinyl, it's so much easier when learning. All the extra steps with the mats are cumbersome when starting out, I just wish the design space program or packaging warned about the inch of dead space it needs to compensate for not having a mat. I thought I did something wrong at first

If you are looking to make a small vinyl decal or label items with your name, and love the portability of the Cricut Joy, this is the vinyl for you. It is extremely easy to use, does not require a mat to cut, weeds effortlessly, transfers seamlessly and is very durable.

Great, if you have time 2 waste

This vinyl works great with the cricut Joy machine, but nobody told me that I would need transfer sheets also. It's not even in the instructions! I would of purchased it at the same time, instead of having to peel off the letters individually and trying to make sure they go on straight or don't tear in the application process. If I would of known about it, I might of reconsidered my purchase. It is alot of trouble unless you love to be very detailed. Air bubbles will get under the labels regardless whether you use transfer sheets or not. I need to also mention, that the transfer sheets are hard to find, it took me a week to get it (had to order it online) and by then it was too late.

1 star for misleading packaging. Package states the "smart vinyl" is 5.5 inch wide.This leades the consumer to believe that is usable space.This vinyl is 5 inches wide. The paper it is affixed to is 5.5 inches wide. I am also pretty sure cricut joy only cuts 4.5 inches wide and you wouldnt know that from looking at the machine box...it conveniently doesn't list that info anywhere I can find. Only states usable length.Weird how you list total space (not actual usable vinyl space) for the "smart vinyl" but for your standard grip mat is listed at 4.5 inches wide (actual usable space) and not the 5.5 inches wide it really is.This is an obvious attempt to manipulate the customer into thinking they are getting more for their money. Love this product!

I love my Cricut Joy and the smart vinyl product is easy to use. I've used this product to create labels for my kitchen pantry and this vinyl material holds up nicely on refrigerator containers also, no additional cutting needed as it fits perfectly in the Cricut Joy.Hands down, this is a must have if you're purchasing a Cricut Joy.

The worst Cricut product I've ever tried

Bought the 'convenient' smart vinyl to personalize cups for my granddaughter's cheerleading team. The project should have taken no longer than three hours but because of this terrible vinyl it actually took eight hours.The vinyl weeds just fine but getting it off the transfer tape, yeah, good luck. Unless or until they fix the product, and they absolutely should fix it if they're going to keep selling it, but until then I'll stick to non-smart vinyl products.
