This metallic textured vinyl is fun to use. I have used it for a variety of projects. I recently cut two chickens and put each of them on a black canvas. I love how they shine! This is an awesome material!

The texture of this vinyl is awesome. I could not find the brushed metal vinyl I was looking for and this was the next best substitute even though I hope they bring back the other one.

Cricut permanent vinyl is the best in my opinion for outdoor signs, and small indoor items like mugs that don't need to go in the dishwasher. It weeds very well — better than Cricut standard premium (non-permanent) vinyl, and the colors in the sampler were just what I need for a few quick projects I was doing away from home.

Cricut permanent vinyl is the best in my opinion for outdoor signs, and small indoor items like mugs that don't need to go in the dishwasher. It weeds very well — better than Cricut standard premium (non-permanent) vinyl, and the colors in the sampler were just what I need for a few quick projects I was doing away from home.
I threw out two projects due to difficult weeding and this vinyl absolutely refusing to stick to regular transfer tape. Then we realized that the vinyl was supposed to include strong grip transfer tape, which it did not. While weeding, the adhesive under the vinyl sticks to the vinyl you're trying to remove so it's just a huge headache, discouraging, disappointing, and really makes the whole process not fun at all.
This vinyl is so difficult to weed and transfer. I wasted a lot of this vinyl and only after the fact, noticed that the roll was supposed to come with a sheet of strong grip transfer. Mine roll did not. I contacted customer service and they were incredibly nice and sent me a roll of... regular transfer paper. Thanks anyway though.
I really don’t know or understand these other people are talking about. This Brushed Vinyl is fantastic! I make sure to use the correct vinyl settings, use a “premium“ blade on my Maker 3, and have cut (use “more”) and weeded very intricate designs with no issues.The strong grip transfer tape is definitely the best one to use. I will say that I kind of touch it a lot, so it’s not so tacky and can still use it at least two or three times and my designs adhere to my projects fantastically!I also use it as a base layer for some custom business merchandise, on glass and it’s by far the fan favorite! I do cut it the direction where the grain looks horizontal, and turns out beautifully every time!.
This vinyl weeded perfectly. Would love to have had a different color the vinyl for the carry page. White on white is hard to weed. Once adding Cricut standard transfer paper it was very difficult to get the vinyl off the transfer paper.
The Pearl Metallic vinyls are beautiful. Colours are vibrant and the shine to them is just gorgeous. Bought every colour and will continue to purchase more once I run out. Weeds easily, stays on, and makes gorgeous decals.
Stunning colour, and being premium vinyl I expected it to be good quality. I tried a simple rose design, about 4.5” x 4.5” big, and couldn’t do anything with it. It was trying to fall off of the backing as soon as it finished cutting, it wouldn’t stick to the transfer tape and it just turned into a mess that I ended up throwing in the garbage. I don’t know what it would last like if I would have managed to apply it to the jar I planned to stick it on. I’ve never had an issue with Cricut vinyl like this before.
I loved the variety of colors in this pack. They are very vivid and great quality! Best price I have found for anything comparable. Will definitely be purchasing more.
