My relatively new iMac came with 8GB RAM and was still slow in launching Excel, and would bog down when having many multiple tabs open. Even when Activity Monitor only showed 80% of memory used max, after installing this I found running the same or fewer applications used well over 8GB of memory! Now with the additional capacity everything runs in milliseconds, not seconds. I'm sorry I waited so long to buy!

Great value for memory for my latest iMAC 27 5K. So much cheaper (just a fraction of the cost) for the same memory that you would get directly from Apple. Easy to order and just pop in yourself. Highly recommend to go this route than buying from Apple.

This memory worked perfectly with our iMac. Was well worth the cost, and easy to install. Would highly recommend this kit vs. the Apple kit.
I recently added additional RAM from Crucial to improve performance on my iMac. It was easy to install and maybe boosted the performance a tiny bit. I was very disappointed that the Crucial scanner said I could only use 2x 8GB sticks which was inaccurate. I could have installed 4x 32GB sticks. So now I have to go back and purchase more RAM sticks and there was no way to return the RAM even though it shipped after I discovered the mistake. Boo.

I was searching the web to find a reasonably priced 16Gb RAM and was about to give up when I decided to try Office Depot. That was the best decision I have made because the price here is superior to any other place on the web! The icing is the RAM was the exact specs I needed to upgrade my laptop. My search was over and I could not wait to submit my order. The order arrived ahead of schedule and I immediately installed it. My system ran much better because some of the applications I was running were consuming a lot of memory and now I had it to give! I recommend buying your RAM from Office Depot. The price is fantastic and the shipment arrived ahead of schedule! Great find and buy!
The installation of the memory was pretty straight forward. The directions were easy to follow, and everything is working well so far.
Installed into a new 2019 iMac (27 inch, 3.7GHz i5-9xxx), worked immediately at rated speed. A fraction of the cost of preinstalled Apple memory.
Not much to say other than it was easy to install and worked on the first try. My computer recognized the hardware immediately and applications like Adobe Lightroom operate noticeably faster during heavier edits. Very affordable RAM and it does the job. I'll likely buy Crucial RAM again in the future.
