This is one of the few gen 5 SSDs where the T705 model is the latest one which supports even faster speeds so be sure to get the right model for maximum performance.Speeds reading and writing are extremely fast but your motherboard needs to support gen 5 to take full advantage of this. Some boards may have gen 4 and gen 5 slots so it is worth checking the instructions to make sure it is put in the best slot.
Oddly, the heatsink version costs less than the one without it. You definitely can't run this SSD without a heatsink. The heatsink that came with my motherboard is larger than this one, though. This SSD is extremely fast and I've had no problems with it.
Blazing fast speeds. Games like Tarkov; i load in under 2 minutes versus the 4 plus minutes from before. This is great for me since who wants to sit and wait staring at a load screen. Moving videos /files to and from the M.2s in my rig is super quick. Very noticeable to me, as I just upgraded from my 6 year old PC. Bought an ASRock Heatsink with an integrated fan. I said why not, as I saw the T705 can get extremely hot under long loads.
this is so good two tb for so little it was a great it was such a great experience. My custom turned out great with only two of these, but the pc... i guess because the t705 white edition is rare i spent 33k on my pc, but the t705 might have taken 10% of the goodness i really reccomend this. i bought this in another email but who cares (maybe you).
