The Test & Charge came with very good instructions and worked quickly to rescue my tired battery. The battery and alternator tests are easy and give an early warning about potential problems.

I use this for my AGM deep cycle battery and it works great. Nice to find a charger that really supports AGM. Have also used on my cars and tractor.
The first thing I noticed was the rugged construction of the CTEK trickle charger. The cord and wiring feels heavy gauge and yet not so as to be inflexible. I've used it's rejuvination mode on several batteries in equipement that had been sitting over the winter on our farm and in every case the standing voltage of the battery a day or two after disconnecting the charger is slightly higher than the average battery in our "regularly used" vehicles and equipment. I am thus far very impressed. I've even used it on our combine with 2-1000 CA batteries connected in parallel that had dropped to around 10.5 volt. I was too lazy to disconnect them and charge seerately and besides I thought it to be a good test for the charger. If its too good to be true, it probably is. Luckily in this case it was not! Item appears to be of good quality, its easy to use, and I feel confident in using the product. I bought 2 of these to use as charger/maintainers on 2 batteries I keep as a back up for a medical device. I have poured hours of research into finding the right battery charger. What I found was most smart battery chargers really are not. They say they stop charging, but they dont. CTEK was the exception. Their 8 step process appears to be just what the doctor ordered. (It is worth noting that some of the more inexpensive models of CTEKs chargers do not have all 8 steps) According to CTEK, this charger can be left on the batteries for months at a time. Doesn't have the features as CTEK 5.0 but gets the job done. Lot's of value in this little bitty charger. It does things some big table top chargers can't do.
This little unit has already saved me the cost of replacing two batteries. It is well worth it's price.
This little dynamo has fixed my world of wonky batteries . It charges it tests it analyzes , it does it all . It route off one of my problem batteries. I successfully reconditioned five other neglected batteries. My world is good and I didnt spend a Kings ransom to get it, MONEY WELL SPENT ! IMHO
Perfect for maintaining the charge on my airplane. Safe, and efficient.
