I used this rice cooker for over a year now. It cooks the rice to perfection and keep the rice warm without making it crusty. I also like to use the reheat function. It makes refrigerated rice soft and fluffy again.

This rice cooker cooks rice perfectly. Any kind of rice, white, brown, mixed. Even though it is against recommendations, we have kept it warming for more than 60 hours. The rice is still edible. I do wish it played a little song like the much more expensive Cuckoo models. But we love it nonetheless.

This does not have any of the fancy bells-and-whistles of the more expensive CUCKOO models (e.g. induction-heating or pressure). It simply gets the job done, and it is a great value. It's easy to clean and the inside part of the top comes off so that you can wash it separately. It comes with a measuring cup, and the ratio of dry rice to water is 1:1. The size is compact and doesn't take too much counter space.It takes about 40 minutes to cook 2 cups of white rice on the regular mode. There are several modes, but I have only used the White Rice cooking mode.In summary, this is a no-frills rice-cooker that does a consistent job of making good rice! Excellent value.
