The cuckoo clock, which has an official certificate of authenticity from the Black Forest Clock Association (VdS), calls out once every half hour and the corresponding number of hours on the hour. What is special about this watch is its extremely durable rack mechanism, which makes it possible to turn the hands both to the left and to the right without damaging the watch. The 8-day movement needs to be wound up once a week by pulling the chains until the weights are pulled all the way up. The music comes from REUGE, the leading Swiss manufacturer. The size of the clock refers only to the case, without the weights and the pendulum. The solidly processed wooden case of the clock is extremely elaborately designed and has many details and a half-timbered structure. The roof is provided with individually applied shingles. On the hour, a hand-painted wooden dancing couple turns to the accompanying music, the mill wheel and the wood choppers move. The dial, hands and cuckoo bird are made of wood, and the clock has a night shut-off function.
