Cuisinart 11-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set, Ceramica XT, Black, 733-30H

These pans look nice hanging on my pot rack. The nonstick coating is working great. I have used every pan except the steamer. I have used the large pot and lid in the oven with no issues. Cooked on food washed clean off of both. The only con I had was that I had to buy utensils that wouldn't scratch the surfaces. Adding a basic set of nonstick utensils instead of the steamer would make this a model/product I would repurchase, as a gift, and for myself.

I purchased this set during Way Days as the price was something I could not pass up. I am so glad I ordered them! My old set is at least a decade old, and the non-stick coating is starting to peel in parts. I knew it was time to replace them, but didnt want to spend a fortune on cookware. The color is a beautiful, fire engine red, and the lids fit all but the smallest pan. I washed them immediately, and cooked dinner with them the same night. I cooked pasta, shrimp, lump crab, and spinach and mushrooms. These pans came clean in an instant, and a damp paper towel was all that was needed to make them look clean (I still washed them after dinner)! I registered them in minutes, and can now rest easy knowing I have an amazing cookware set that is guaranteed for life!Update I have used these pots and pans daily, and have not had any issues with sticking, aside from a pasta noodle that I missed, and placed the pot back on a hot burner...it wasnt that hard to scrape off though once I soaked it in water. Still highly pleased with this set, and when I need to buy more, I will be getting these!

I bought this set to replace a really great set (a different brand) I'd had for about 5 years (the non-stick coating had started to peel). The quality of this set doesn't meet the standard of the old set for sure. I like the design, color, non-stick surface, and name brand of this set, but the handles are heavier than what the smaller pans can deal with: the handles make them tip to the side when they are empty; the glass lids made surprising popping sounds the first few times I used them; and on a couple of the pans' underside areas, the heat chipped the paint after only using them a few times. Living with them but will be looking for a different set when the time comes.

I like them. The size of the pots in general are rather small. If you are boiling water the lid does not let any air through so it becomes very bubbly and it starts to overflow. If you are making pasta you can’t drain the water with the top on. So it gets a bit dangerous as the steam comes to your face. It is important not to put it in the washer and cook with low heat, as per the instructions. Cooks well though.

This is my first Cuisinart cookware set and I absolutely love it!! This cookware does not require any oil or cooking spray which helps me provide healthier meals for my family. The food does stick and slides easily out of the fry pan. The aluminum core heats quickly and provides even heat distribution so my food to cooks evenly. I also don’t have to turn my heating setting past medium while cooking or medium-high when boiling water. They are oven-safe up to 350°F for a maximum of 20 minutes. This is perfect for some of my recipes that require 10-15minutes in the oven after the stove stop cooking is complete. Clean up so quick and easy with warm soapy water. The lifetime is also a plus.

Good, BUT ...

I love the cleanability of the pots and pans BUT, I have a gas stove and the bottoms of the pans are scratching (blue is coming off) after only one use. Also, hoping that the nonstick finish on the pans is safe to use. I would not buy them again because of the scratching on the bottoms. I have other nonstick pans that are just as easy to clean and are not scratching after hundreds of uses. Not sure what these will look like in a month or two.

Issue with description on Fingerhut

Just received my Cuisinart Advantage Ceramica XT Nonstick cookware set. It arrived timely and looks amazing.My issue is, upon reading pamphlet that came inside the cookware itself says, Do Not Wash In Dishwasher and in description here on Fingerhut it says Dishwasher safe, and that description is why I chose this set, I am disabled and cannot wash by hand as I used to do before my disability. I wanted people to know the description on here is wrong.

Just What I Needed

This ceramic nonstick cookware set was just what I needed. They are light-weight and so easy to clean. As I have aged, my older stainless steel set had become too heavy for me to cook with comfortably. Even though they are far less expensive than my older set, they work nicely on the glass top stove in my apartment. And I am delighted that I have to use far less cooking oil.

Started off real cool. Didn't last 6 months...

The last few months they've been more of a headache than they're worth. We had the old set of these that I purchased in 2006 that lasted us until we replaced them with these. This set hasn't even made it 6 months. We followed directions for use anally. This could be a 5 star product with a re-design.

The set is a great value and one of the selling points is the glass lids. Unfortunately, the way the lids are constructed, water gets trapped in the edge between the glass seals so it is hard to dry when you wash it. You have to get a small part of the drying towel wedged under the glass edge and run it all around the lid in order to get all the water out. The one other issue is the rivets on the inside of the pot/pan. Whatever you're cooking gets caught around the rivets and it makes it hard to clean the food from around the rivets.
