I LOVE Cuisinart and have a lot of their products. One of my favorites is the HG food processor that I’ve had for a very, very long time. But, I’ve downsized and changed the way I eat day to day, so I don’t need the full size processor that often, which makes this mini- prep so helpful!! It’s perfect for my needs right now, which are essentially vegetable and certain fruit prep, chopping fresh herbs and grinding spices (which I also do in my Cuisinart coffee bean grinder). It has a decent capacity size and the blade is extremely sharp and does and excellent job. Easy to clean and store. This is so great to have for smaller jobs, if you’re a beginner or live alone.

I purchased this mini prep plus to replace another branded mini chopper that broke unexpectedlyAfter researching different options, I decided on this unit because it had slightly larger capacity, and I liked the overall design and functionalityMy first use was to make a dip I had to make in a blender before, because the capacity of my previous mini chopper wasn’t big enoughIt performed flawlessly, and with a better end result than the blender I used previouslyI am very happy with my purchase, and plan on using this often a my go to prep tool.

Convenient for smaller processing jobs
21 January 2024

Convenient for smaller food-processor jobs that don't require the larger Cuisinart "mother ship." Fits on the counter for easy access. Noticed it while watching a You Tube recipe. Zoomed in and saw the brand/model on the cooks counter and promptly got one for the house for Christmas. Would recommend!

Cuisinart mini processor

This little processor works very hard and is easy to use. I replaced my old one with this new one. I had the old one for 10+ years and used it almost daily, and when I make fresh sauce from the tomatoes from my garden it processed them with ease. Wish I could give you a 10 rating.

Love the Mini-Prep Plus
17 September 2024

I purchased the Mini-Prep Plus as a replacement to my old one because the plastic around the blade was cracked and I didn't want it breaking during prep. I use the Mini-Prep for small jobs (i.e., onions, bell peppers, etc.) instead of my large food processor which is on the heavy side. It does a great job of chopping and is small enough to store anywhere. Cleans up easily. Be sure to dry the blade after washing. Love this little kitchen helper.

My twin
17 November 2024

I had my first cuisinart for I can’t tell you for how many. Just know “lots!” I used for everything a small food processor can do. It finally said goodbye and was gone forever. So I decided to welcome a twin in my kitchen. So happy now. Hope there’s a triplet when the new ones leaves me. Love this little guy! Would recommend!

Quick, powerful, and reasonably priced.

I begin this review by stating that I have never owned a food processor of any sort. Having a serious arthritis and carpal tunnel problem with my chopping hand, I needed this because I love to cook. I opted to buy this as chopping foods like onions and parsley has always been an unpleasant task and has become painful lately. This processor has a very powerful motor which allows you to get the job done with just a few presses of the appropriate button on the front panel. If I were a perfectionist (which I am), I might complain about the result of the chopping and the sizes of the pieces you get with this grinder. But, the quality of this appliance is good and it will be a lifesaver for me, my wrist, and fingers when cooking from scratch; so, I won't complain about ... MoreI begin this review by stating that I have never owned a food processor of any sort. If you want an inexpensive, entry-level food processor for occasional everyday cooking tasks, this is the one for you. There are surely other brands out there which are similar, but the Cuisinart brand is a respected one and I am pleased with the purchase. Cleaning up is also easy as the number of pieces is very small. Well recommended!

Small but mighty

I had a large cuisinart food processor for years and years. I recently replaced the hard-working but broken appliance with the smaller 4-cup cuisinart processor. Smaller, and faster in working, and cleaning so can do more work than larger processors

This processor is Perfect! I often make sauces, dry marinades, and other mixes that only require partial blending, or blends that are added to items during cooking, so this product is like a best friend in my kitchen. It only has a few parts, the base, the bowl, the blade, and lid. When I finish mixing one blend, I can dismount the bowl, wash it, and mount it again in one minute ready for the next blend to process. Its the perfect size, is fast, and easy, unlike those large processors that have too many parts that must be connected or else it can't be used. I used to think I needed a large processor to help me in the kitchen, but this 4 cupper taught be otherwise. It continues to look brand new. I love it!
