I love using the food processor. My previous one was also a Cuisinart. They are efficient, fast, easy to use. Although I like this food processor, the attachment (stem adapter) that the blade goes over has broken. I don’t understand why they changed that from the older model. The older model blade was one piece. You have to put the attachment first into the processor, then the blade over top. I find it very hard to get off/out when you have food in it. I had to use a knife to pop it up, which in turn chipped the attachment. Which I have to replace now.

9 cup capacity is great. We make a recipe for minestrone that needs 6 cups shredded cabbage. This machine gets it done in less than 1 minute and there's no mess. Same for slicing radishes and other hard vegetables. No more dangerous mandoline for us. Pizza dough is fantastic.

This machine is so easy to assemble, use and the cuts and shreds are consistent every time. We have made so many things that we never thought possible. We do not even buy pre-shredded cheese anymore. Freshly shredded cheese is SO MUCH better tasting and healthier, takes about 5 seconds to shred a block of cheddar. Highly recommend for your kitchen!

I am blown away by this product. It literally does everything I need for making bread desserts at work. Bread crumbs or sauces and salsas I was not aware of everything I could do with this machine until I got it I truly like all the accessories that come with it the shredding of cheese that is just super easy now and all the different features and functions it has. I love the continuous spout that really is a game changer and makes it different from other processors that I've used in the past. I feel it's easy to clean and I really understood the instructions. I loved the recipe book that came with it. And now I'm just explaining more and more things that I can do with it.
Pros: Good size, eazy to use. Love fast speed, especially for carrot and cucumber round slicing. Quet enough. Liquids mixer is great as well as dough. Cons: Has a poor shereding option for all products: no long thicker shreding as expected in advertising. Comes out as shreding paper looking carrots, sweet peppers and other products including cheese. Dosen't have dicing option or any other option. It has room for improvement for different cuttery of different food products. So far I noticed two options that worked good, thin round cutting option for cucumers, carrots ect. and liquids/dough.
I have always used small food processors in the past. I never knew what a good food processor could actually do for you until now. I have spent the weekend cooking, and making some incredible things. I honestly can’t say enough about how much this is changed my cooking.I was disappointed to see after purchase that this was offered on Amazon for a cheaper price at the time of purchase, but was happy my purchase (made in a store) helped the local Williams and Sonoma in Lexington, KY. My disappointment, though did not outweigh what I feel like I’ve received in terms of the quality of a product.
Sorry, but this is the worst Cuisinart product ever! Shredder attachment is a joke, clogs under the lid and does not shoot out unto your bowl below. The top of lid attaches in BACK now which is horrible. Not user friendly. A very CHEAP MODEL. What happened to the excellent quality of Cuisinart??? I used to SELL their products 20 years ago in a retail setting and now the quality is terrible!! You need to find a production company in the United States who has QUALITY CONTROL....

This is a powerhouse food processor that can even mix dough. I will say its rather quiet for its ability (compared to my previous food processor at least, and quieter than my mixer). While the regular bowl works as expected (this is my 2nd Cuisinart food processor) I have had a lot of trouble with the attachment that shoots the food into an outside bowl. (It seemed like a great idea when I was shopping for a new food processor - now I wish I had just bought a regular one) I have tried it several times with different types of food (cabbage, cheese, etc.) and have had not so great results. It clogs easily, regardless of what is being processed and because the spout is so small it is hard to un-clog it without removing the entire bowl (which makes a HUGE mess) I have contemplated returning it, but I got a really good price and the regular bowl works well and returning it would be too much trouble.
